  • I show how to remove the radio or head unit from a 2013 Dodge Durango. I believe this will work for a 2012 and 2011 as well.

I’m doing mine today. This stick radio is a pile of junk. Since day 1 have nothing but issues. Mostly navigation and uconnect.
So do it gets the new Alpine iLX-F308 aka Halo 9. It has 9” of floating screen. I’ll have a video on my channel in a couple days. Thanks for sharing this.

What did you replace the stock with? The new 8.4 don't seem to fit 11-13 Durango

@@laneboone8739 yes, I've had several units in that I use for Android Auto. I just installed the AVH-W4400NEX last week which supports Wireless Android auto as well. If you're looking for a parts list I can throw something together

I ran the extensions into the center console. To do this you need to remove the shifter knob and trim pieces. There's a channel to route wires down the left of the radio cavity and down and through the shifter area using a fish tape. Then i used a paddle bit to drill a 3/4 hole from the arm rest box to the shifter cavity.
You'll have to figure out where you want to place the mic and external gps antenna, there are a few options. I routed behind the glove box and put the antenna in the back right of the dash and the antenna up into the headliner in the middle behind the mirror.
