Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁
I keep mine that way. It is annoying if you're in a hurry to find a book. But it does help maintain the condition of the books. If you turn the box sideways and flip through it's not as hard to see both books, imo. Nice pick up.
That's how I store my books, cover to cover. Pain in the ass when you are missing a number here and there. 😂

Lol. All my short boxes are just like that, books facing each other. But they’re catalogued also so I know what’s in which box.
I infact have my books lined like that in the box, it help prevent creases transfered from other books
I have my books like that as well. It is the only way I keep them.

I think I bought that Artgerm Spider-Gwen at 14:55 last week from you guys on your Whatnot sale. It was a really nice book and goes well in my Artgerm collection, appreciate it! Oh, and I store my books that way too, face to face and back to back, it’s the best way to keep them in long term storage so the books stay flat and to maximize space in the box.
I keep mine that way, flipped front to front. It helps keep the edges straight without the crease. It's annoying to show my books but I have them in alphabetical order so I know what's what
This is sssooooo a perfect re-seller collection! Theres a few for yourself, a ton of dollar+ books and a few handfuls of 5-10 dollar books. $1800 paid is a helluva deal for you!
Also, if the posters integrity is not super important to preserve for later then I suggest using a staple gun. Quick & easy.

I store my books the same way, supposedly it evens out pressure on spines and keeps them from rolling. It is very aggravating though when looking through them trying to find certain books, seems like it takes twice as long

I really like that collection match mine pretty much, its funny... That Spiderman 800 cover is by one of the Goat (plus a fellow french man 😆) Moebius. Good job on this pretty good collection.

FB marketplace , Craigslist , offerup and local sales / Conventions are a good way to find nice books.

This is an awesome collection. And for those that don't buy modern, You missed out on the first Miles, Hellverine, Kamala Khan and so on. You're just going to pay way more for them in the future than you had to pay. If you don't want any modern books then then don't cry when you see a book sell for ridiculous amounts of money because they showed up in some big Marvel movie down the line.
I am such a glutton for punishment that I would have sat there and turned all those books around. HA HA HA!!! It's always been a dream of mine to buy a collection. Maybe after I retire!!! HA HA!!! That was fun to watch!!!

Dang! If you buy those boxes off BCW's website, they're $57 each, so 9 of them would be over $500 alone. So you really only spent $1,300 on the books.
Damn. I watched all of this and it was literally all stuff my shops were giving away during free comic book day when they ran out of free comics. So much filler, dude made out like a bandit with that $1800 .. but I guess it’s good for the what not zombies

I saw Stephen Platt this year at Calgary FanExpo and he is by far the rudest comic guy I ever talked to, and I talked to everyone there and everyone else was super nice and even did sketches and signed comics, but him he was like all 100% business and was like if you don't give me money I won't even talk to you. He had a friend with him that was like $15 before we even talk to you.
He’s a odd duck for sure. Not very personable. Unfortunately he’s a great artist so it’s hard to resist getting a sketch.

For the most part no . They have some modern keys but that doesn't always mean valuable in the long term . If you're buying modern comics I suggest buying to read .

That’s a Spider-Man 800 Moebius Variant
Honestly as a long time collector and seller I think the 1800 dollars as a stiff price to pay for this collection. However with your minor you tube status selling these on whatnot would be your best bet. From what I’ve seen people seem to pay dumb prices on that site. It could be a new comic that just came out for 3 bucks and they’ll pay 6. Like I said with the you tube status you have you might break even. I just think as a comic collector 1800 could have been spent in a lot better way. I’ve actually given away for free comics like this. In my opinion the bags and boards are worth more then the comics
I was thinking how bad the collector made out on this one. Nine long boxes is what like 2500 comics roughly. Those BCW plastic long boxes are $55 a piece. 2500 comic bags and boards at $0.25 a piece.
That alone: 9boxes * $55= $495
Bags and boards: 2500comics * $0.25 = $625
Total cost without comics so far: $1,120.
So if you take that into account sold for $1800 - $1,120 cost of just storage = $680 remaining to divide by total number of boosters which I said in this example was 2,500 for cost per comic is $0.27!

@@SuperSeoExperts you into the hobby to buy boxes, bags and boards or comics. The comics I seen listed look like they are worth a quarter or if I owned them and sold I would throw like 4 in free with every order I sold. I just don’t think this was a good buy for 1800. That’s just me. I love these guys vids I just personally wouldn’t buy this collection. And I wouldn’t be all like wow look at all the boxes bags and boards i got

My approach was to consider all aspects of the collection, including the storage solutions, which also carry a cost. However, I completely understand that the main appeal should be the comics' worth and not just the accessories that come with them. It’s really about what each collector values most in their acquisitions. I appreciate your thoughts, and it certainly gives me (and maybe others) a bit more to think about for future investments. I can tell this guys just got rid of his collection cause he also realized modern and modern variants are garbage and a waste of money and ruined the hobby. That stuff is just gonna sit. Joe would not be proud lol
@MikeDiscoli only because of their reputation. If you don't have a reputation then books like that will sit for a long time. This is why me and my local vendors don't get moderns cause we don't want them and no one wants them. The variants are dying and I hope one day the days of having 5 10 or more variants for a book are over because it's dumb
