Danni I’m absolutely pleased at the way you are shopping and being selective I hope it helps to keep your days a little less crazy when processing your buys.
Noah if you are the cook-in the house why not unpack the kitchen the way you want it and put items in places you prefer.
When I moved multiple times with teenagers (as a single mom) the rule was always they had to help unpack the common rooms they all used, kitchen, bathrooms & living room, if they used those rooms they needed to help & not sit on their phones or computers until they contributed to help the family! It only took a few days then things could go back to normal. Everybody pulled their weight.
Nobody likes the job but and everybody has better things to do ( including Danni) so yeah..when you have a household of 1 senior adult and 2 young adults… it’s kind of a given that it is everybody’s equal responsibility to “get ‘er done. “ Even if it’s not particularly fun. Lol

I liked the little wire birds. I think they're very cute! Since Noah is the cook in the family, if he has the time, he could get all the cookware put away so it's easily accessible to him while cooking.
Unfortunately, Danni, I noticed the broken flower when you first found the majolica piece on the shelf. So the Goodwill employee is innocent. 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Danni. That picture of the children crossing the bridge is from a painting called Guardian Angel Watching Over Children on a Bridge. It's been around for a long time. I remember my dad had one hanging everywhere we lived, and in the later years he had prints made up for all of us kids. There are several different versions of it.

I purchased the same V shaped bowl at gw several months ago. It's heavy like crystal. Has great clarity. But it isn't marked or signed. I love it also. It's been on my kitchen table filled with protein bars!
the word is "personal" for what you are doing at the end. Like Thrifting Las Vegas does, and it is so nice, calming and lets you see the things up close and with time. love it.

At 28:11 that jar of loops is what we used to make the woven pot holders out of when we were children. There was a small loom and we would weave them and then finish off the edges. Of course, in my case, that would be nearly 60 years ago.
Thank you so much for picking up and identifying the majolica planter. I have 2 small, ...one with a frog 🐸and other with a turtle. 🐢 After finding the second one in a thrift store I knew they had to be something special. I like the one you picked up even without a critter.

I found that the thirty somethings are into gold tones for their metals for cabinets and furniture hardware.
The painting at 30:30 looks like it could be an homage to Modigliani paintings.
Put orange candles in blackbirds for Halloween.
You passed two crosses today one with Jesus on it. The other one was across it slides open. Both are amazing resell items. If you have a chance to go back and if they’re still there, I would definitely buy those from you the large one that had Jesus on it is amazing. Thank you very much the other one I saw was a light colored and it slides open and it should have candles on the inside.
The gem tree with having both the purple and the green could be fluorite. :)

@lynnmk2384 good advice. I moved a lot while working a stressful full time+ job. While I would have preferred to do something fun to decompress at the end of the day, I made it a goal to unpack 3 boxes each day. It was rewarding to accomplish the task. We all have different ways of working through things. Great video, Danni. It is so good to see you in your element of shopping and in better spirits.

Dani, here’s an idea that I have seen in our local antique malls: a dedicated year roynd Christmas space; you would be surprised how many people collect Christmas and only Christmas.
The space is sometimes 2 to 3 booths are set aside for this; they set up one or 2 really nice, about 5 foot tall, artificial Christmas trees, and the other booth owners can then price and put their name and booth number on the tag, and put Christmas items on shelves around the trees, or ornaments on the trees if they wish.
That area is usually close to the register(s) so that people who buy exclusively Christmas items can get to it quickly and easily.
Oh, and a point is made in advertisements and on the shops windows and on the road signage that these places have a dedicated year round Christmas area.
Try it for a year; see how it works out.

The turtle shell is really pretty.
Great finds and I loved the one bookend. However, it is Septimius Severus and I think the 'c' in Sceverus is a typo. That bookend is like an ideal ruin as the arch doesn't quite look like that. The bookend has a lot of letters but which do not spell correct words in any language. As it is said, it is gobbledegook and not one language although it is trying to be Latin
NICE ❤ to see brighter days ahead! As Alaskans Hawaii is our second home. We have a place in Kauai but love Maui also. My heart is broken for all the losses. That is the mist historic town of all the islands and the huge Banyan tree 😢 prayers for all the people, pets, wildlife & nature.🙏🙏🙏🙏

The artist is Lindberg Heilige Schutzengel of the Guardian Angel And Children Crossing Bridge! I have one that belonged to my MIL and I found a figurine of the angel and the two children that matches it!
Another GREAT thrifting haul Dani, as soon as I saw that turtle shell and you had not yet seen it I knew you would be all over that one...lol That rainbow was soooo GORGEOUS and peaceful and yes indeed says it all.
