You don't have to cut the governor arm to remove it, plus if your still running the stock carb you need it to hold the top arm for a easy spot to hook up a throttle cable

Is the 7.5hp motor governor delete the same as the 212?

Tapping the governor arm hole and cleaning out the shavings in your crankcase will take most people over 10min just for anyone that is trying this. Some dudes just put a 1/4 bolt in the hole and let the bolt tap it. I trapped the holes 8mm and the oil sensor hole 12mm and it took a few hours with prep and all

Smart ass the governor was bypassed without doing all that and I had to eventually exchange the motor , if I fid all this I’d of been out $160

Na man the stock flywheel isnt ment to go that high in rpms. Running it is a risk of it breaking and hitting you ankle/leg
