Nice lock and I like the knob feature. But thought about it.. If I would not close my door all the way completely with the knob. And I would accidentally pull out the button thinking my door was completely closed in the evening. Next morning open my door wit the handle without paying attention to the knob. And i would close my door behind me. It would be snap closed. ( and mine has no handle outside that moves) The cilinder becomes useless even when I have the key with me?
At first sight the disks look good but a bit weaker then other disks I have seen. But that is just an first impression. I will have to take a closer look and see if there are false gates and how the quality of the cuts are.
The promotional video for the TOKOZ euro cylinder shows a tool similar to the Abloy milling cutter being used and the tool is actually destroyed in the end. I find it surprising that it didn't defeat the TOKOZ whereas it defeats a Protec cylinder in a matter of seconds. I wonder if it's because they are using a cordless drill, which doesn't produce high enough RPM for optimal cutting performance.
Hey man, yeah that could be one of the reasons. Either a cordless drill which does not have enough RPM or a milling tool which is of a lower quality than the one used on the Assa Abloy. Best wishes, Adrian
Oh and just by the way.. the contact with Tokoz is very very nice and friendly! (Not like with some other companies). They are interested in conversations about their products and hopefully also open for critical receptions. They did sent me these samples free of all charges and that I have to thanks them for. The samples have all the same core and therefor should not be used though. (That's why I am going to order another one)
That's great to hear mate :) I am going to order the bigger Gama padlock so just tell me what you need and I will add it to my order. You will save yourself some money on delivery and I could hand them to you as soon as you get here. You should also watch my critical reception mate. I love their locks very much and if they work on tolerances and maybe a bit on the key quality I would love them even more! I will take the core apart as soon as I can and tell you something about the core quality.
Hello Adrian, i know this is an old video but I am considering buying a TOKOZ Pro 400 in single cylinder version. Do you think it is a good buy or you would go for an M&C Matrix instead? Thanks and Regards
Both interesting locks! Choose what you feel more comfortabel with :) The M&C Matrix lock design is a copy of an old design made by EAGLE which was used for I.R.S padlocks in the U.S. waaaaaay back! Interesting lock! Best wishes, Adrian
Hey Perico, they should produce these lengths normally... I am not sure why you can't find them Maybe try contacting them directly? I am sure they can help you! Best wishes, Adrian
They are MUCH cheaper and I have no idea why everyone says they would copy the Abloys... Abus copied the Abloy disc cylinder Design 1 TO 1 and NO ONE said anything about that.
I believe I know that Germany guy that you are talking about... I believe is name was "Adrian Weber" or something like that.. I heard he is arrogant as hell and is SO freaking bad in geography that he does not only not know the difference between Chechnya and the Czech republic but ALSO mixes up The Czech Republic with Poland (and sometimes Austria I heard...) Can you believe that? What an arrogant fool he must be! He can be really glad that the guys at Tokoz still smile at him while thinking what an idiot he is.. Ah well, maybe someday he will it learn while reading this comment ;) Only thing we can do is sit back and relax right?
Definitely and interesting lock! I have yet to take one apart, but it look very similar to the first generation of Abloy Protec. (Even the "security feature" with turning the key 90°back is just like protec...)The key cut is bit like Exec. It could be some mixture. But, seriously, the similarity to Abloy locks in uncanny... I from what I've seen the keys testify of lower quality than Abloy but they are also cheaper I believe...
OMG! It's not Chechnya, its CZECH REPUBLIC!!! Part of EU and NATO, not the former soviet country. Capital is Prague btw...its were I live
Tokoz is Czech company, not Chechen.
Hey bild, yeah that was my bad, gonna make it right in the next video promise!

Adrian Weber thanks!
I would like to buy a Tokoz 4000 in 30X55 or a 30x60 with handle but I don't find it anywhere, maybe the company doesn't make those sizes?
Hey Perico, they should produce these lengths normally... I am not sure why you can't find them Maybe try contacting them directly? I am sure they can help you! Best wishes, Adrian
Hello mate..at minute 3.05..when you say opem the door..should be "close" ?
Hey Toni, could be, I have to renew my Tokoz videos anyway ;)
Can you still unscrew the upper hatch on the padlock even with the hasp closed an exploit that as a weakness
I believe you can only unscrew it when the padlock is unlocked.
@@AdrianWeber maybe try it as an exploit see if it works
They are MUCH cheaper and I have no idea why everyone says they would copy the Abloys... Abus copied the Abloy disc cylinder Design 1 TO 1 and NO ONE said anything about that.
Has it been picked yet?
Just bought one
Interesting lock
Hey Tyto, I have not seen a successfull picking attempt of this lock yes. It is an interesting lock indeed!
@@AdrianWeber oh thats cool to know!
It probably wont be me who picks it but i'll give it a try after i modified my pick
Thanks for your response!
Someone already stated that walkeer. I am sorry for the mistake maybe I should do the video again an correct my mistake.
What a shame if a german guy doesn't know the difference between Chechnya and HIS neighboring country the Czech republic...
