@@MouseleyMarshals-fm5vr i actually own an e class too. The m271 is noisy but fuel efficient. The electric steering isnt as refined as in the crown. The 3gr fse is by far superior engine, its quiet and very very quick too. I have had all the known coolant pipes problems in just under 3 years of ownership, the crown has had. Only advanced front light system problems, the auxiliary pulley bearing and thats it despite it being older by 4 years and being used much more There are things that i wished the crown had. Like the heated and cooled seats which i would still would have gotten in a crown only if i had chosen a higher trim. I will sell both cars and the only sedan i will buy is the 2019 toyota crown g executive with a 3.5 2gr fxe hybrid. Fully loaded with everything you can think of. From premium denso audio, cool and heated seats, reclining back seats, a fridge, window blinders, i will keep the car till my death.
I drive a 3.0 Crown.... its far more fuel efficient than my previous 1800cc Allion. I've recorded (story za jaba like) ridiculous economy figures.. on long trips i get upwards of 16-18KM-L Just keep the revs down to 1200 RPM at 80kmph... regular service and use the right engine oil. 0w-20 to 5w-30. Drive from Nairobi to Kenol i get around 20km-L.... i am a slow driver hence. The example in this video is an i-four and those tend to consume more cos of the 4wd system but not by alot.
@@maclaudeamumbwe2663 I read a certain manual and 3gr can take the oil... however i agree its too light and may not protect the engine as good as 5w-30
i would say someone to do more research about the crown,,,,,,,,,its a very good,,,,,im aiming for the 2018-2019 toyota crown,,,,,a 3.5l with electric motor,,,,,,369hp,,,,,4.5sec 0-100km/h,,,,,,bes fuel economy 21km/l to 16km/l,,,,,,,,,,,looking foward to own it
Personally own one with now 56k Kms. The biggest issue I face with it is, it’s too heavy but the braking capabilities are not the enough for it’s size and weight
@@Waigera that’s the plan long term. Family bought the car in 2015 for 1.95m at 53k kms so it’s barely been used till now. Once the replacement time comes in, I’ll swap over to brembo’s. The fuel consumption is mostly explained by its transmission system rather than the engine capability. That's why Germans have better fuel economy due to their effecient transmission systems
very underrated. Solid car, comfortable, powerful. Enemy kwa wakenya ni kitu inakunywa
Unpopular opinion: the crown is more comfortable than a benz Eclass.

True..

Thanks so much my bro 🙏🏽
Good show
Nice overview of the vehicle how long should one do a major service
i did 19.2 km/l from nai to nax on eco mode with a crown ...economy depends mostly on your driving style, terrain and the state of the car
Now go back uphill n post ur economy😅
i got 11.8 kp/l
Nice review. And is that a Osmo Pocket 3? Loving the quality. Crisp.
Most Kenyans have a fear of any engine with more than 1500cc.
It's worth it.
I think problem comes with replacing stuff such as sensors and other parts that may fail
