Wokabi, Benz isn't everything. Crown has the comfort Benz offers, some even have swivelling vents, powered rear blinds etc. Then it being a Toyota the reliability is higher and at a more affordable cost = better value.
I was torn between the crown and a mercedes. I chose mercedes because of its imposing image which greatly boosts my career. But objectively I absolutely loved the crown.

Great reviews. How I wish one day you could do comparative reviews for example you have intuited the crown is close to a Mercedes. Crown vs Mercedes or Crown vs Teana or Crown vs Artenza
Wokabi, I have been watching your videos for a while now. Nice review. Japanese luxury car enthusiasts(Crown Owners) wako na umama sana, I agree with you those vitambaa are quite annoying and hard to keep clean. Most executive cars in Japan have those vitambaa. @son of Africa dont compare an e-class with Crown.. I own a crown 2010 3 litre v6 and a C200 kompressor. Crown is full loaded with leather seats and air purifier system. I love it to bits but one thing annoys me. Squirky sound of leather. Before I had same trim level 2005 with no leather seats and I can say without hesitation fabrics seats are more comfy especially long rides. Also reliability is unquestionable unlike Mercedes. However I give kudos to Mercedes for precise steering.
Wat told that the power mode is a feature that should be used when maybe towing something heavy rather than a feature that will make the car abit aggressive. Not sure though.
Good job. Are hybrid batteries available in Kenya now. How expensive are they? Approximately how many kilometers do you get before you need to change your battery.
The crown has always been a good sedan. Aside from the toyota President, sold specifically in japan, this one struck a balance from the likes of the SUV segment and the lexus ones like the LS450. The majesta had a V8, same one as in the landcruiser. Not so much luxurious as the lexus, but definitely a performer and luxury car for that other 'class' of people.
Pretty much the crown is like the eastern secondary luxury brand for Toyota. But the Crown has been around 1955 before Lexus was introduced in. Lexus sold their ls not thee crown due to the crown being one inch shorter, so there isn’t a lot of them roaming in the west.
