A little bit about my experience:
I recently underwent a bone marrow transplant due to leukemia. Taylor Swift stopped by the hospital for a surprise visit and dropped by my room to say hi! When she noticed the keyboard in my room, she asked me to play a song for her. I decided to play a song I had recently started working on which was "Someone Like You," by Adele. She said she would sing what she knew, and I said that I would play as much as I knew. This was the most amazing moment in my life being able to accompany Taylor Swift. She is super nice and cordial and probably made everyone's day here at the hospital. It was so great of her to come out specially to visit all of us here at the hospital. And in case you are wondering, I did get a hug from her, unfortunately it wasn't caught on video!

Why are people putting them up against each other? We all know Taylor does not have a big ballad voice like Adele has. They're in very different lanes. I'm not a big fan of either one so this isn't a biased opinion. Taylor stays in her lane I think she's well aware that she doesn't have a big ballad voice like Adele, Demi, Christina, Etc. Taylor sticks to songs that are in her vocal capacity. She's simply doing a kind thing here she didn't pick the song, she didn't try to over do the song, so give the girl a break.

Taylor has alot more talent than most people thinks she has; this video she's only singing along to his talent she's not showing her full capacity of singing the song; (with other words this is about him being talented with the piano not her being talented at singing) so this video is isn't judge worthy of her singing "Someone Like You" i bet she would have nailed it if this was infront of crowds or for an recordlabel.

Do you know what makes me the most upset? That this video shows Taylor freaking Swift singing with a leukaemia patient, obviously stopping by at the hospital and giving a surprise visit, an angel that she is. And people have the heart to comment about how bad her vocals are and how fake she is. People are ignoring the fact that she has one of the biggest hearts in the music industry and donates $$$$$$$$ to charities. idk i cant blame people anyway, they need to hate on and diss good people in order to be happy.

to people who are saying it's a publicity stunt- the video was shot not by a parent or someone that does not work for her. she seemed so nervous and forgot some of the parts of the song. she asked him to play a song for her on the piano, she didn't know he was working on someone like you by adele. also, she visits lots of children in the hospital and donates lots of money for education and charity. even if it's a publicity stunt, at least she's helping the world. what are you guys doing? just lying back here and trolling comments/ sending hate? less than she's doing.

She problaby did feel slightly intimidated singing the song but honestly no one can sound like Adele but Adele lol. To me she had a sweet quiet tone. I feel like she was just making sure she didn't miss one word and was a little shy singing it but it really did look like she was gonna continue but he decided to stop playing which is okay. The pianist is wicked talented and Taylor has a good heart for doing this.

She can play and instrument,sing and dace. She writes her own songs which made her famous. And is as humble a person that she can be with this much fame and fortune. Unless any of you have lived it dont knock her life, it is a hard life. When I say a hard life just imagine you could not go to your local store to shop or stores where you have gone all your life without been hounded or having a security detail surrounding you. Just going to the airport or out to eat can be stressful. Fans see you and just want to be with you but some fans are very pushy and like to get very close and THEN the haters who would like to threaten your life. Believe me this happens more often than you can imagine. You are gonna have haters all the time for your success. Taylor ignore all the negative people rock on.

I'm a leukemia survivor myself, bone marrow transplant 10 years ago. It was an extremely stressful time. Taylor swift brought a few minutes of joy into the life of this young man going through the worst time of his life, not knowing whether the transplant would work, whether he would live or die. Just an incredibly thoughtful gesture from a fine young woman.
I just love Taylor when she sings softly like this, it sounds very pretty and peaceful.

People say that she has a boring normal voice, I don't care if she has a bland voice, she is the only artist that I know of who gives her fans gifts over Christmas and dresses up in a normal costume on Halloween for a concert. I think she is an amazing person :) She also donated a lot of her money to charity! After shows, instead of going to bed and relaxing right away, she hosts loft 89! She could be doing anything after a show but she chooses to hang out with fans! I think that is super nice of her :)

How can this be publicity stunt when the patient uploaded this video? Do you guys even have any idea how much she has donated to the charity? I'm not a fan but people are just rude for no reason.
