A COZY FALL VLOG 🍁 || book shopping, baking, & autumnal decorating (with a touch of whimsy)

From book shopping to decorating to baking, this day was filled with all things cozy & a bit of whimsy too ✨ I was so glad to start the day off with some autumnal poetry and painting. Then, some quality time with a good friend followed by a rainy afternoon in Powell's book store-- what a DREAM (and finding a $10 copy of Magic Lessons!!). Decorating for fall was ~magical~ (I hope that particular part of the video makes you laugh :) and oh my goodness, those pumpkin bread muffins with maple butter drizzle!? EXQUISITE.
All and all, I'm so glad to have had such a heart-warming day and am really grateful to have this community to share it with-- thank you so very much for being here, friends ❤️

This was like watching my weekend play out before my eyes, before it’s even happened! I have a 3 day weekend & I’ve prepared a gluten-free sourdough starter so that I can make sourdough waffles & watch You’ve Got Mail (my favorite fall movie!). I even purchased a new autumn puzzle just for this weekend! Great minds think alike! 🍂

@@MorganLong I’ve actually thought about the sweaters, but (with it still feeling like summer here in Texas), I’d have to crank the air conditioner down, which would make the electric bill go up! I get away with that only on my birthday, lol! 😁 But someday, (hopefully soon!) I’ll actually experience an autumn that’s cool and colorful outside the house! ☺️🍂🍁
The braids are perfect on you and your mantel decor came out beautifully! My weekend is going to be busy, but I'm now going to make sure I make time for baking and and a movie. You've Got Mail is one of my all time favorites!
While I love all your videos, the thing I like the most is that you don’t look at yourself in the screen. You look at us. Very professional and not the least bit distracting. Great job on this video, too.

Here it’s spring and it’s been hard saying goodbye to cozy weather but your videos transfer me to autumn again (favorite season hehe). I’m 15 and yesterday I got bad news about my mom’s illness. Never lose it. Also watching you make the pumpkin gluten free muffins inspired me to go to Trader Joes today to get the same muffin mix and maple butter. I will make them next week. Omg. I worked inner/downtown Portland for years before moving in with my now-husband. Your vlog captured everything good about fall in Portland - Powell’s on Hawthorne, tea and snacks at Trader Joe’s, the hazy fall landscape creeping up from the fog…. I miss those walks so dearly. I worked in NW Portland for two years and the fall leaves with all those beautiful buildings and Elephants Delicatessen just up the street was a whole vibe. Thank you for sharing!
