Hey just to let you guys know if you are using an older version of da vinci before 17.3 or 4, the bevel of the 3d text is gonna be transperent I think it is a bug probably, just update to a newer version.

i m not able to move freely in the 3 dimension i can only move back and forth , up and down after pressing middle button of mouse. that's why i am not able to see side views of the text reply ASAP
@PeeJ ENT I really like this text animation and got an idea to enhance it from another video that was made for After Effects. Is it possible to have the text letters rotate or be slightly jumbled up?
Are there ways to save this whole composition? Assuming I can just make it now and use it later on a different project and change the text to whatever needed.

dude this tut has layers of getting better and better. too good
at 1:24 you can also just highlight the bevels and press f and it will curve the bevels for you

make sure the fast noise is on the yellow input of the merge node and the other line is on the green input, that other line will show your text
