    Best video on youtube actually! thank you very much, so detailed!!! I wanted to add, that it weird that you have so much old oil in the filter area, when I sucked out mine, there was very little oil there. Also I believe oil measuring procedure you shared is incorrect. You dont need to wait 10 minutes, you need to wait 30 seconds to measure the level.

    Great Video Guys, Made what could have been a difficult process a breeze. Still crazy how much needs to come apart on these Sparks for a plug change! But this video is a great step by step

    awesome guys. any chance you can spend a little more time with the steering disconnect and just as important , reconnect? Also for the bolts did you have trouble remembering where they went ? Once you do that I am going to try this on mine this summer spring.

    • @jemano14
      @jemano14  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Piper Pilot the steering was very easy you basically take out that on bolt remove the steering arm and put the bolt back on loose so you don’t lose it and do the opposite when you put the cover back on and reconnect the steering! 👍🏻 I’m sorry I am not able to make another video because the jet ski is no longer on the trailer in the garage! But I would! Thank you for watching and supporting!! 👨🏻‍✈️

    Next time take the nasty oil out of the filter canister as much as possible dont ever put a new filter back in there like that belive it or not that section of the motor catches alot of impurities from the motor . Good job with the service . Crazy how much needs to come out to service .

    Great video thanks. Have you done a compression test on your sparks? I’m trying to figure out how to crank it the engine with the top off?

    • @jemano14
      @jemano14  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael Kelley I did not do compression on the sparks, so I would not want to give you incorrect information on how to do so, but thank you for watching!! much appreciated!!!

      @@jemano14 thanks for getting back to me, means a lot! Mine overheated and now has water in the oil. I’m thinking head gasket or maybe warped head, what do you think?

    • @jemano14
      @jemano14  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael Kelley No problem thanks for watching, I’m not entirely sure but definitely could sound like a gasket that blew out and allowed water into the oil, but I’m really not sure. Sometimes you can call a Sea-Doo service center and they may be able to help you out if you tell them what’s wrong. Or look online on forums.

    Do you have the model of the spark plugs and filter?

  • @seadoo4life127
    @seadoo4life127 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Always suck that old oil out of the filter location. Crank the engine and suck it out. Crank suck crank suck. The Spark holds just over 2 quarts. When you crank the engine hold the throttle wide open. You don’t want to start the engine. VERY IMPORTANT

      Pop the tabs up and you gotta push into the plastic and pull out at the same time.

      You actually don't have to remove the top just to change the oil , and after taking the top off a few times it can be done in less than 15 minutes.
