What worries me is that creators, graphic designers, will stop creating and start copying the more talented ones, they won't work on originality and individual style on their own. There’s a lot of crap being put together. Like clip art of the 80s and 90s. People without an eye for design will still need some professionals. Carve a niche. I am hearing you. Computers didn’t replace fine art painters, or sign writers, only the method and type of media.
Long term - theres certainly some truth to that - no doubt about it - I wouldnt rush into a career in rotoscoping, for example, but you should choose your skillset wisely - but that said, someone is gonna have to be pushing those buttons and making the human decisions for a while yet
