  • On the morning of June 4, the FSM officially welcomed the new, Australian donated Guardian Class Marine Surveillance vessel, the FSS Tosiwo Nakayama to the FSM in a ceremony followed by an onboard tour.
The performance of the FSM's National Anthem was as recorded at the event.

Since the sound quality I captured was quite poor, in part due to the lack of a microphone for the speakers and complicated by the sounds of the diesel engines from the vessels, I captioned the speeches by Australian Ambassador Jo Cowley, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs Kahndi Elieisar, and Wasalapalap Isipahu Herbert Hebel. I hope that is helpful.

Can we please take the older patrol boat back and donate to our Naval reserve cadets...each donated boat should be exchanged and Australia take older donated boats back.

How dare they allow these sailors to stand under the rain with their uniforms? Whoever coordinated this event has never been a sailor or served in the armed services. Of course they're supposed to be used to all weather, but after that journey and you treat them that way??? Laughing stock of an event.
