On Lets Fly Dubai to Istanbul later on Saturday, my PMDG 777 weather radar saw some more fun red/pink off towering CB up at FL380, and I requested 15nm right of track to go around it, got a bit touchy with that red colored stuff on the radar thereafter!
Matt pretty sure when you hit extreme weather like that near and airfield normal practice is to inform ATC so they can adjust approach pattern to keep people out of it or warn other flight crew beforehand.
Well, I am flying on my Virtual Airline which has a program you can find on dlhvirtual.com , there you can see your rate After your landing. My record is -16fpm, try it :)

Matt, as the pilot in command you assume ultimate responsibility for your aircraft and the souls onboard. It is perfectly acceptable and regularly practiced to tell atc "unable" when asked to fly into a red or yellow patch on the wxr. Teamwork makes the dream work communication is everything.

Just wondering do you have to be a pro is FSX or something to be able to fly with flightsimlabs addon and land correctly. I can already do flight taxi and land with ILS and without in FSX with no addons, but I don't know if it is worth it to pay so much for this addon and don't know if I will understand anything in the game and stuff

Would anyone be able to explain to me what Matt uses to provide the flight information along the top of the screen on these livestream snipits? Is that a feature of the streaming platform he uses or is there a program me available that places them on top of the screen?
+simpilot757 you can use World of AI which is freeware but I would research it first because it can be a bit finicky to install as it is old software. However you can get new liveries from Avsim(free service) and select certain airlines as you choose. I would recommend looking for a downloaded for WOAI packages other than what the website it's self provides as it can be tedious to download 600+ airline packages.
MATT, I just bought FSX, And I have downloaded many addons for it to make it Real. ORBX Global base + fsgenesis + Rex4 with soft clouds + Gsx + Immersion for 777 and a320 are enough to make my gameplay real.

my fsx is no my lap top and if i put to many addons on it it gets very laggy do you think if i got a gaming laptop / pc it would'nt be so laggy and have bad frame rates?
Great video. One thing I may have missed in the stream is why the autopilot won't connect at all later on. I can understand why it gave up on the initial divebomb, but you had it pretty stable at times after that.
Why was the auto-pilot continuously disengaging? is that an FSlabs fault or is that a autopilot feature for realism that the auto-pilot disengages during severe turbulence?

I haven't personally read it but in previous streams Matt has said it's against the TOS for partners to stream on both platforms. Also I gather he's not a great fan of streaming on TH-cam.

Was that a bunch of stall warnings at around 26:40? Why? At 255kts an nowhere near the red line on the PFD...
My mistake, the low speed line is orange in an Airbus.

The weather here in Walsall (where you were being buffeted on the final approach turn) was pretty awful that day.
I think the coolest thing is how they made the wing view actually sound like a cabin. I hate that most other payware aren't like that.

On VPilot it gives you a few options for model matching such as Ultimate Traffic 2, My traffic, traffic x, etc.

Hmmm looking at the TOS there is nothing that says it isn´t allowed. Could you point to the specific rule that states this?
