- Noatak in Foliage green was the solution Maxpedition sent me when I needed more space than the Remora but where the Kodiak would be overkill for everyday running around.

always enjoy your Maxpedition reviews, you know the brand well. Good stuff brother
Buying this tonight. My 3rd bag by them. I have the fatboy ..the valence...and a bunch of small organizers
After just a couple of days with this bag. I couldn't see myself using anything else. Thanks for the video which helped me make my purchase..edit I removed that main retention buckle ..no need for it
Excellent review! One of the very best I've seen on YT. Thank You for your efforts and for sharing with us...

I bought the Remora before the Noatak came out. The Sitka and Kodiak seemed just too big for EDC. Not being able to attach a water bottle, and other size deficiencies, made it unworkable. Just got back from a flight to Wisconsin breaking in my Noatak. I still found it confining, but this time, I think it's my fault. I need to tighten up on my gear, considering this is an EDC. I think it can work well in the future. (Gave my Remora to my grandson.)
Great review! I've been considering getting a new EDC bag. I've sorta narrowed it down between the Noatac and the Sitka, so this was helpful. Thanks
Thanks for the info brother
Nice.. I've been really digging Maxpedition more and more as I use it.
Thanks for the great review.
Pro trick : watch movies at instaflixxer. Been using it for watching loads of movies these days.
@Alberto Messiah yup, have been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself =)
Nice job beast. :)
Thinking of getting this for airline carry-on. Just need to pack my tablet, some books/magazines, snacks, etc. I carry a Kodiak on my daily commute, it's big enough for school books and I can stuff my hoodie into it as Colorado days can heat up 40+ degrees between morning and afternoon commutes (plus me being 6'3" and with Kodiak slung into seat next to me dissuades people from sitting next to me, lol). But the Kodiak is obviously way too big for what I need for traveling. Anyhoo, any thoughts on whether the Noatak is a good airline carry-on for in-flight essentials?
My favorite part is the touch bit of MOLLE!
Nice review. I will check this one out. What do ya think about this as say....a scout pack?
Why this over the Lunada? The Lunada has the upper pocket you were missing and also is large enough to attach a bottle holder (or better still, a roly poly) to.
You managed to get a Nalgene in that side bottle holder. I've never been able to.
So you prefer this over the sitkha?
I don't ride, but it seems like Maxpedition's Monsoon Gearslinger would be a good choice for a "Bike Pack."
I have the sitka to me this one looks more like a purse as it us very small. I found it to look very odd when u had it on my back. Maybe it wouldn't look as funny on a smaller guy
In my opinion, Maxpedition makes everything a little too small. It seems like they are using small women as a size pattern. C'mon Max. Get some size on for the big guys.
