Yeah, you can tell he really enjoys and loves his Animals. I do watch his videos off and on, but I swear TH-cam unsubscribes or something because when I looked I wasn’t subscribed.But I have been watching his videos for almost 2 years now. Some of the best content on youtube. ❤️

I see Mr Krabs partied till he's purple at the Goofy Goober. If you're looking for another frog species to keep, get another dart frog species, like some Phyllobates terribilis frogs. It would be pretty cool to keep the most toxic creature on the planet (in the wild one milligram of terribilis poison is enough to kill about ten THOUSAND mice; though they're luckily harmless in captivity). Also they love to call so you will hear them often

Maybe I am just speaking for myself but I love your content based on your personality and your content, not Just for the difference in the videos. You introduced me into the hobby back in 2019 and now I am sitting here with multiple T's. I would love to see new kind of content, but the normal stuff is also absolutely okay. Maybe an extra channel for uncut content with your daily routines in the example of exotics lair? I would be interested in that too . Keep up with your great work petko👍

Would really like to see some single-species deep dives. Less general feeding, but like a full, comprehensive guide each species, new, old and otherwise. It really benefits keepers who want to look up their individual species, as well as keepers interested in a new species. The old videos on the Poecilotheria genus were great and somewhat in that vein, but instead of focusing on feeding, maybe show some life stages, behavior, and other changes over time.
The filler content is my favorite kind of content.
All in all, not a great decision to create less content.

I agree with the the majority of the other comments...... I am always extra excited every monday and friday to see what's going on in the dark den. It doesn't have to be something new or different; just getting updates on the animals that you have already shown is awesome! With that said, you certainly have to do what's best for you and your channel. However, I just wanted to voice that we love the content that you put out!

I actually dig every video of u petko and that from the first dark den on till now. No matter how many times u will upload, I'll be there. I feel the issue u got with producing the same feeding videos over and over again...

And less updates isn't bad, making up for good videos with one great video in a reasonable time span is fine by me.
Also seeing that stag beetle makes me think that you don't really have any beetles.

If you go down to 1 vid a week, maybe you can feel that you can be more meticulous with the content and put out one long video a week! I personally don’t think your content is monotonous or redundant, and I’ve enjoyed every video you’ve posted very very much. You should make shorter clips.. it used to be mon-, wed-, friday.. 10 minutes, fun, projects. All builds, battling with silicone.. I loved most stuff the last years, but nowadays it's often 20 minutes, that costs time.. Personaly I think 2 days is better, but it's your channel ofc. Would be a shame :-/

Dude microlens videos just with those mini millipedes is good filler content, and slow mo stuff, bugs muching other bug close ups and slowmo, just saying u got tons of content right there and Mondays suck, Fridays better imo
i think those 2 died because the space is too small and they can be territorial when crowded. also there's not much vertical space of sands for them to dig in, so they may be stressed out
Is there any chance you could do outside nature videos of Croatia and its local wildlife? It's an idea for new content and I'd absolutely love it as I have no idea wha lt is native to your neck of the woods.

Because many of us never get to see tarantulas, even time lapse of one in its enclosure is entertaining, what's boring for you is not for us. Maybe consider setting up a different enclosure for your crabs, that has more beach and less hiding spots. One of my local aquarium stores has a set up like this and the crabs climb the driftwood and individual rocks you get a nice look at them in and out of the water. Or you could start singing and make music videos like Ants Canada, pretty sure that would not be boring.

Taking away content just because it isn't "Creative" isn't what people want, we don't subscribe to your channel because the content is exciting or inventive, we subscribe to your channel because it's a story about a man with passion for exotic animals and if you need ideas for videos i'm sure we can help you with that.
Why not make a video showing us how you take care of the dark den? Kind of like a behind the scenes so we can see the kind of stuff it takes to maintain the dark den.

I enjoy all the content as it is.
Especially the feeding videos and updates on the animals. I am disappointed that the amount of videos will be reduced.
I get that people enjoy the enclosure build videos but for me it is the animals and their care that is the best part of your channel. Certainly it is not repetitive or boring as you consider it to be currently. It is informative and helps to share the relationship and life of the animals in your care. ❤️

Last I heard him mention anything about it, there were concerns about outdoor cats and his wife if she became pregnant. The risk factor was toxoplasmosis from mice caught in the wild. If they kept the cat, it would have to be a strictly indoor cat to keep her from getting infected.

I’m quite sad that we are losing another video per week. I’ve been watching your videos more religiously than any other TH-camr for years now and was bummed when you stopped the wednesday videos! However, I understand this has to be enjoyable for you too. I just hope you can figure out a way to balance it out

I support you in doing what you gotta do, and you definitely deserve the chance to change gears and and create in ways that are more fulfilling to you :)
That said, also remember that while it might be 'the same old content' to you, that's why a lot of us like it. I will never ever ever keep tarantulas or spiders or anything you keep, but I like listening to your voice, hearing you talk about your animals, and seeing the familiar rhythms of animal care. It's relaxing.
But, like I said, do things that are fulfilling to you :)

I remember when you went from Monday, Wednesday, Friday to just Monday and Friday. That decision made sense, and this one does too. You've come a really long way in the past few years and I appreciate the effort you put into your projects and videos. I'm excited to see what you come out with. Several years ago I came across you rehousing a GBB back in season 1 and that video is what got me into spiders. Now I have several!

Vampire crabs are extremely fragile because they are wild caught, and don’t ship well. At least that’s what I’ve gathered from my experience with keeping them. They often die off quite quickly since getting them, and then if they survive for a few weeks they’ll generally live out the rest of their lives so long as the conditions are right.

Hope you keep in mind that just cause it feels stale or stagnant to you doesn't mean it is to your audience. You live with all these creatures every day, so it is just the norm for you. But for alot of us who don't have anything like that we want more videos. The feedings, rehousing, sexy-times and everything else is awesome, I can't get enough personally. I feel like we don't know alot of what's going on there with most of your creatures. You do because that's just your every day life. Just something to maybe keep in mind... if you even see this.

Oh no. I can barely get through the week as is. But I understand your reasons of course and we don't want you to burn out. And that you enjoy it is the most important thing. But don't think we get tired of rehouses etc. But we'll be looking forward to some bigger projects with you😊 Maybe once you actually move in you can make a few live streams etc. I'm sure it will all be easier once you have moved. You know how stressful moving is. And all the building you are doing, it's a bit hectic. Hopefully it will all settle down soon😊
i support your decision! alltho it is never boring for me. i like all of your videos. you could update your Tarantula starter guide or even do multiple for each category. terrestrial, arboreal, new world and old world. some quick but informative guides so new owners can look specifically for guides or "how to's" maybe talk about some do's and dont in terms of tarantulas / scorpions / enclosure building. there's so much content i'd like to watch from you haha.

You should just go through and make bigger enclosures for your animals. That way you’re not buying more animals but creating cool in and interesting content. I love the videos !!
Put a small meat also...fish meat, pork meat, chicken meet...they can mimic dead animals..but only tiny amount
I don’t think you need to reduce your content to keep it fresh. I liked your older format where you used to have a couple of things all in one video for example once you done the rehousing you would feed something and that way people who were bored maybe by rehousing get a feeding so they are entertained also.
You have such an amazing collection of animals that we sometimes don’t see something for months such as mantis or Thor. so even just adding them where it’s just showing them and their beautiful colours etc is interesting whether they eat or not.
If you’re planning to make longer videos with multiple topics once a week would be cool i guess.
Talking of jumping spiders it would be freaking awesome if you could get some Peacock Jumping Spiders.
