I would say to anyone reading this thinking of doing it, use denatured alcohol (methyl hydrate) to thin out the acrylic paint. If you use an oil based paint, then use paint thinner or mineral spirits, and fill up the container maybe 33% of the way to allow more air to pressurize it allowing for a more consistent flow
Is acryl based the same as water based because i have normal paint for outdoor in germany its called Fassadenfarbe and i dont know wich one it is or how i can find it out
@@FriedrichRichter-rm7zx acrylic is water based yes, you could try and draw on something that you can wipe off and try wiping it off with hand sanitizer if that doesn’t take anything off it’s probably oil base. If you suspect it’s oil try mineral spirits if it comes off like it’s nothing then it’s oil base.

@@FriedrichRichter-rm7zx depends how thin you want it and thickness of paint your using, start with less alcohol since you can add alcohol to it, maybe do a 10:1 of acrylic:alcohol and add a bit each time measuring how much you end up using for future reference, I’m just guessing though it’s more of a trial and error thing, the more alcohol the more drips you’ll get but I’d try and find the minimum amount of alcohol to use. Find denatured alcohol if you’re in the states or di methyl hydrate if you’re in Canada, they’re cheaper since they add stuff to it to make it you drinkable and avoid liquor taxes

@SAVE THE MILKS you need "refillable" (I mean the preasure) extinguishers...empty it, then you can take off the head, fill it with paint and repreasure it
SAVE THE MILKS as Zote explained use a rechargeable fire extinguisher.
Usually this kind is pressurized with CO2 cartridge (paintball, airsoft or bike tyre repairs kit)

Yeah but you need so work compressor or a pressurized to compress your pain when it's in the extinguisher. In the US, we have air compressors at our gas stations, so we go and pressurize or compress whatever tf we want.

I asked another writer who use it and he said that he just uses water and dye, no paint, but I'm pretty sure that vodka works even better

There's a video of people doing it with the first sprayer you used, they use it as a method for large throwies and it works really well. Not sure how they mixed the paint though.
Could you make a video where you show the difference between all cans and caps? I want to make my first piece soon, I got some sketches ready, but I don't know what cans or caps I should buy :)
Justo just go with montana black/gold, loops, speed or molotow and some skinnyy and pink dot fat caps just try or there are enough vids about this

How much procent?
You should use latex paint and water in a 2:1 ratio in a handheld garden sprayer. Tighten the nozzle as much as possible and it'll be a fat cap. Add dye to the paint(silk dye) and it'll cover like a beast

We use those a lot here in Brazil, just get some paint u can dilute in water (3/4 paint 1/4 water), mix it well in another bottle/container and pass it thru a kitchen strainer/sieve before putting it on the sprayer. Also get the sprayers with a plastic tip instead of metal, they get rusty and stuck a lot easier, and always wash them well after using so the paint doesnt dry inside.
Google "Borrifador Guarany" , those are the most popular and best ones used around here.

in another countries, the spray cans are real cheap and the garden sprayer isn't really necessary. but here in brazil they're very useful because the cans are expensive as hell (like R$20 or even more), while a water based latex for the garden sprayer is like R$5 or if you take a walk on the streets, you can even find some bottle of it in some building spot! here in brazil, we use a sprayer like the white one, this yellow/blue sprayer looks like doesn't work as well as expected 😂 nice video by the way!

Best way to get it working on a budget is to filter your paint with a mesh strainer to take away any small bits that will clog your tip👍
Literally the most important thing you should do that no one speaks about.
Pesticide sprayer is better imo because u can adjust the cap. Soft super fat hollow flare dots, or a hard steady extinguisher style stream, and a mix of both. To get a nice black, try using alcohol dye based ink with the acrylic bucket paint, instead of vodka(altho cheap hobo vodka is way cheaper than rubbing isopropyl alcohol is). Graffiti shop's dye ink is expensive, look for leather shoe dye. Do a search online for it. Id say mix half paint with half alcohol (50%paint 25%vodka 25% leather dye).

so as not to clog up the hose
With all paint sprayers, it's about using the optimal viscosity (how thick or thin the paint/ink is).
With pump sprayers - don't fill it all the way. Paint/air; try 50/50 or 60/40 max. so you can get a proper pressure buildup, and a consistent spray result
Also, mix it well!
And try to filter out small chunks of paint (with a sieve or pantyhose or something). The chunks will clog up the nozzle

You can open the valve in the 7€ one to get fatter lines
you should try using alcohol based ink (like the ones used to dye clothing) and thin it with rubbing alcohol, like 50/50. Super cheap and effective!

the thing you said wasn't working on the first one is a valve...you're suposed to spin it to adjust spray/jet. also you need to figure out the correct paint:water ratio. toe thigs are suposed to spray/mist water, not paint. if it's too thick it won't spray

Used rubbing alcohol is cheap and it works in those bottles
I use spring bucket paint and I use warm water mixed with some small amount of soap and I leave the water for a week you should fill it up near the top make sure to allow for air and don't over pump it Iv had the bottom split open also with the end screw thing just unscrew it slightly water base works fine I get perfect flares you can also add Alchol or camping burner fuel make sure to mix properly and you should me good to go I use a $4 sprayer from the cheap shop the more expensive ones are actually worse they come out like a chisel tip or a water pistol or drippy I spend $10 on a 4L bucket paint and a $4 sprayer and $3 on chemicals nothing to special don't over spend and don't over do it, if you do it correctly trust me it will come out like a belt on can with a Astro cap you'll get next to perfect round out line dots you can also add food colouring or paint dye or natural colouring takes some practice but it should work in the end

IPA (isopropyl alcohol) would probably work best, the vodka is basically just acting as a surfactant and IPA works great for that. You could also experiment with mixing a little dish washing liquid into it, detergents are also surfactants, and much cheaper than vodka or IPA lol

I think this thing can be useful for background. The thing's problem is that it makes drips. A lot of drips. But yeah i think if you use alcohol with a better concentration like whiskey, you will create a better pressure.
try to do the fire extinguisher spray paint. when you put paint into a fire extinguisher and the pressure makes it go really far.
Rubbing alcohol with water base paint works. Used that Cambo in my extinguisher

That might work for background, if you don't want to spend time buffing out your wall. Vodka and buff is cheap here in the states.
breathing acrylic paint is worse than the others because your body absorbs the acrylic stuff because its water based, the other stuff isnt as dangerous for your health. a respirator is a must when working with aerosoles!

Try using rubbing alcohol I think its cheaper and a spray bottle those things that you clean like window cleaner bottles.

Best spray can is Molotow covers all with a black widow cap
i'm sure prices and availability vary by region, but it would probs be cheaper and more effective to get denatured alcohol/methylated spirits, than using (perfectly drinkable!!!) booze. same stuff, just with some shit to make it undrinkable (unless you've got a death wish i guess). though, different brands/product lines seem to have wayyyy different mixes, so check websites/datasheets to see how pure it is as far as ethanol content goes (esp to make it even more useful for reviving alcohol based markers e.g. copics, prismacolors).

Instead of water u should try paint thinner. If u dont want it to smell toxic then use ODORLESS paint thinner.
You should use isopropyl next time 70% or 99% alcohol it might be cheaper

Maybe try to do something like - Cheap cans piece for 30 euros and then normal cans piece for 30 euros and compare the results.
