    Hi there I’m thinking of buying this for my little boy due in October, do the bottles come out dry after sterilisation? If not, how long is the drying process?

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lilli! They don't come out dry once sterilised. You can either take the lid off and let them air dry or use the tongs that come with the set and place them on a clean dish/paper towel.

    Hi, how do you clean the sterilizer itself after each use?

    How do you store the bottles that have been sterilized but which you don't need to use immediately? Can you remove them from the sterilizer and use them at a later date.

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. You can store them in the cupboard or a container or however you seem fit.

    Hello. Do you have any idea why the heating process won't work with this sterliser? The light turns ambre but nothing happens

    Would u have any idea why the light isn’t turning on an it isn’t boiling is there something im doing wrong ? Or is it just broken ? I’ve only just opened it

      Hmm…I would try this:
      1. Unplug the steriliser for 10 seconds and then plug it back in.
      2. Make sure you’ve added enough water to the bottom of the steriliser. 80ml (2.7 fl oz). NOTE: The more water you add (no more than 80 ml) will increase the cycle time. Less then 80ml may not sterilise the items properly.
      3. Once you’ve added all your items into the steriliser, cover it and firmly press the power button.
      If that doesn’t work, I would return for a replacement.

    Hi, how do we know when to top up again 80ml in the pan? After how many sterilising cycles?

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  ปีที่แล้ว

      Everytime you remove the bottles and lift up the trays you will see how much water is in the pan. However, you should always discard of the old water and add new water everytime you sterilise.

    Hi Sami do u have to wash the bottles after it has been sterilised ? Before adding formula? Or is it ok to use bottles straight away after sterilisation.. great vid btw

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wash the bottles before I sterilise them. Once sterilise, I then go ahead and use them for feeding my little one.

      @@muminthemix5921 ok great! Also if I take out a bottle during the day but the rest of the bottles are inside the steriliser, do they still stay sterilised or would I have to run a new cycle every time I take a bottle out?

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, they stay sterilised once you sterilise them. No need to do again

  • @auntiesamsam

    So irritating when removing the white lid that all the excess condensation water drips EVERYWHERE on all over the counter. Have to clean the steriliser all the time and keep topping up with water and fluid. And the lid doesn’t quite catch on properly.
    Had ours less than a week and I’m already seriously changing it to a better one. Plus if there’s not enough water in it stays on for one minute

    • @XxshortiXx2k9
      @XxshortiXx2k9 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree it would be better without the condensation from the water 💧 which is why I switched to a cold water Steriliser

    • @muminthemix5921
      @muminthemix5921  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends how tall they are. If really tall you could try and remove the top portion and only place tall bottles on the bottom

    Had mine for 11 days with my new born only runs for 1 minute 40 seconds and does not get very hot more warm ( possibly multiplying bacteria not killing it) . Only just realised it’s ment to run for 5 minutes and feel so angry as my baby has been really struggling to feed and this could of or has made him ill. BEWARE
