Oh god, that playthrough was horrible... I remember when I played this scenario, a satisfying experience, but this guy... Ignorance and impatience destroyed him.
Dude, you screwed yourself over. You needed to focus a lot more on transmissions. Thing is, you got too impatient. It's also really hard to enjoy a video where 90% of the commentary was complaining.
"It took too long" You just didn't do it right. The way was obvious to many of us. You treated it too much like a wee little disease. I'll give you a tip, you should have devolved the first mutation that gave some lethality.

Took him about 20min, some of his other regular playthroughs took more than 30min and hes complaining about how long it takes? This is why i enjoy the regular walkthroughs more. Rather than listen to a guy mindlessly click shit and then get irritated at things he doesnt understand, in the walkthroughs he actually knows what hes doing...

First time I'd have enjoyed a let's play more without the let's player. Guy is entertaining but the scenario was far more interesting. I don't even play this game and I detected several mistakes in gameplay that led to this taking a lot longer than it needed to, whilst the player complained about how long it took. Still good fun though! Great video!

Pravus views Plague, Inc. in the same manner I do: form a serious, logical strategy to destroy the world as fast as you can. Focus on FAST! Wanting to tell a story is a great thing, but even a wonderful story/premise can become boring if the plot is not executed quickly enough or enough body is given to it. Also, like me (and probably most people with ADHD), he needs INSTRUCTIONS. LOTS of VERY CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS. This scenario seemed very vague and blandly repetitive in this department. The excessive use of plays on words/phrases to describe symptoms/transmissions/abilities just made it confusing. I felt like this was someone trying to create the Terminator universe with a Matrix-like flavor, and it wasn't working. Instead, they came up with a cliché-infested, cringe-inducing, eye-rolling, meme-generating mishmash. Good story, great idea, but poor execution. Try again, creator.
Pretty fucking hard not to do that when the scenario doesn't really give any clear direction of how you're suppose to infect and playing the game normally clearly doesn't work. Pretty sure most people who first played Plague Inc just randomly clicked things. Probably because, you know, they had no idea what gave them more infectivity or what severity did and thought they should save out for lethality until later.

It mentions one tree is for severity but it doesn't really specify how, so even if you did read the description what you see in-game would still be kind of confusing as nothing really specifies how they affect your stats and in some cases doesn't even show it affecting a stat despite it being in the tree the description says should affect X stat.
It specifices what routes to go down for what ending. Thinking of it as a usual plague is the error. The paths ending gives your solution while the symptoms for those paths have descriptions that tell you what they can do for what stage of that path.Going down multiple paths at once messes up all that cohesion. So thinking you can go for everything and x stat will get me this straight up isnt how it works. Its I am at this stage so I should take x then plan for this with x.
