It all sounds cool to me, just heard Mikgazer vol 1 which lead to this Vol 2, YT even auto played me back to vol 1. It is very inspiring music, which I find when listening to when composing some prose for an article or some comment to an online news paper comment section it can when listened to in the background in turn inspire some creative writing. The odd bit is harmless enough bum fluff in parts (Female vocalisation parts) though with solid enough accomplished musicians doing their thing producing something of contemporary musical value. As japan is I would say as close to an alien world about as you can get, I found it so in a 3 month visit, felt like I was on another planet, no offence intended (it was great), then maybe their music also has an off worldly form to it. Though of cause musically influenced by them being a part of the World. Which could be why many other people from other places can tend to shy away from this sort of music, they may find it a bit to strange for them. Maybe some English vocalised artists would entice listeners to the whole thing, though that may not be of a main concern to these artists. They just want to do their thing, not particularly appealing to any western audience which is fine. A big musical label could do this, then push some of their native acts as well, but these days folks mainly just tune in to what they find & want rather than ages ago the music being crafted at a music label level. The big music labels have lost a lot of power these days. It sounds alright to me, some good guitar work and the odd bit of keyboarding. I'm finding this sort of music is quite rewarding, it is creative and well worth checking out.
this album hs more songs than Mikgazer Vol. 1. But it’s quite a disappointment, most of the songs doesnt have good melody and settings, lack of the “gaze rock” spirit, and overly forced distorted sound. I still prefer Mikgazer Vol. 1, it rock hard, but still feels very soft, maybe it all thanks to Wintermute being on the team in Mikgazer Vol. 1 album.
