Truly an amazingly One of a kind Super talented Prince of a Man who is dearly missed 😢 Thank you Mr. Bobby Bluebland for all the memories and great music, Rest easy Sir.
This man will never be forgotten. You could understand the words in his songs. We could sing along and even imitate the music. His concerts are missed, but we have his music.
Absolutely the very Best!!! That silky voice and the growl, he will never be forgotten or duplicated!!! Thank you Lord for the time that you shared him with us!!! Thank you Lord for the musical gifts that he left for us!!! Rest In Peace Mr. Bobby “Blue” Bland , and God Bless your Family and loved ones.
my grandmas raised me on all of his music one dancing in her backyard the other on keyboard teaching me to dance now as an adult in the city I can't go without playing his blues in memories hurting, and cleanimg he has a song for all of it
This was the first record I ever brought. It may have cost a dollar. I was 11 years old. I've spent thousands for vinyl since but I can't remember the second or the last song purchased but Bobby's was the beginning for me. I played it over and over and over......
I listened to Bobby Bland as a very young child going to the junk joints in Alabama with my parents.I was blessed to see him and B.B King in concert what a night. I still listen to him he's a all time great blues singer.
My Mom and her best friend Miss Sandy loved him and used to go see him live. Those were the best times that I could ever want to remember. This is the music that I learned to dance to. Great memories. 😊❤💯

he sounded so cool in his younger days and his throaty yoowwls and growls was came out powerful and strong, but the heavy smoking ruined his voice and his later years it just sounds gross
I can remember every word to this song, I was just a little girl when I first. He alway had a swinging band...A true gentleman of the art of confessing the blues. RIP

When you have the MUSIC and the LYRICS, you don’t need all those acrobatics. The SOUND says it all. BOBBY had it all, the Total Package. He could just stand there and belt out a Tune. He had no need to dance like James Brown or Mick Jagger. He didn’t need to distract you with surreal dance moves like Michael Jackson of the Hip-Hop Rappers. BOBBY was Eye & Ear Candy straight from Beale Street, Memphis, TN. He is gone; there will never be another. I am so happy we shared the same Time and Space. We breathed the same air.
***Here this old guy is still listening 2019, always had a place for his unique way of singing over the years. He is one of those artist I've never tired of .
I had the pleasure of seeing Bobby numerous times in Houston, Texas in the early 60s, awesome voice matched by an awesome band. Years later, 1988, I saw him in Tampa , Florida, older but still the same fantastic performance.
