Im starting to wonder if easier tracks would make for better racing. Everyone in both 250 and 450 were struggling through the whoops and when everyone is just trying not to die it doesnt make for good racing.

Wanna know one thing that was much more professional in the C and B classes I used to race? The flaggers. Back in my day, they did not direct the traffic into the crash site. Believe it or not,---they call it "Progress" today. "Moving Forward" they always say. Into a crash site.

Bro I feel so bad for Alex martin getting ran over after already down.
People who may not agree but I don't think macado should have been able to race after running over Martin that's not being aware of your surroundings a whole Lane of yellow flags and then Red Cross and then the red flag so the race was over this is why penalties for the Red Cross are always so strict it's about safety what if Martin had a broken neck or broken back and being run over paralyzed him cuz you're not supposed to move somebody

@@mxrider4222 ya actually I do, but you don’t run across the track in front of riders when they’re coming right at you, this is the 2nd or third time it’s happened this year, Luckily only one person has been hit. And the tuff block shouldn’t have been on the inside either

Both martens and RJ out hurt similar to the other coast so many out hurt

3 years of his career, gone, and people have lost their ride after winning championships. I am sure he is not the only one.
This race was an abomination. Cooper appeared to be the only pro out there. Hats off to him for hitting his marks.

Hunter lawrence looks to me like he is riding conservatively which i can't blame him for given his injuries since coming to the us. I think he ll get alot quicker over the next few races and will be competing for wins towards the end of the season.

250 SX was like an extended LCQ Race, West coast talent very thin on the ground
Oh, the talent will get thin. Look at what the FIM has done in Europe. They can't fill the main event GP starting gate. So we let the FIM run our racing too.
Expect the same here in a few years. Some heat races now have empty gates, and qualifying for them has become practice in reality, (OK, a good qualifying lap probably selects your gate pick position for the heat). I can't believe it, like the Pontiac Silverdome, I was about 5 years old when MX started in the USA. I already out lived the Silverdome, and it looks like I may out live this sport. Kinda neat, seeing the entire evolution, (and living through the greatness the sport once was, (Late 60's,70's,80's), because it was us who made it great), but I don't like sad endings. It used to be a almost 100% free market, (stopped with the 1986 production rule). That was the key to its success.

i saw that too. i was expecting it to come up again, but it never did. To be fair, that medical dude just walking right in front of him.
That was 100% the crews fault. They didn't red flag the lead riders until after they passed AMart, so it was still an all out race, then they put a tough block on the inside line forcing the guys outside, and then the medical guy stepped in front. It could not have gone much worse.

I disagree I think macadoo was in the wrong specially after these weeks of people ignoring blue flags he went whole rhythm said section of yellow flags and then they were on the Red Cross where you have to roll jumps and you can't race and the red flag was out there was tough black trying to block Martin his bike and the medical team and McAdoo ran into the medical team and then ran over Alex Martin this is why penalties for a red flag are so stiff what if Martin had a broken neck or broken back and by being run over he was paralyzed
Lucky whackers didn’t crash and get hurt barcia almost punted a track offical earlier this season in a high speed section that could’ve been nasty too
I raced amateur for 10 years. I never had a flagger/track worker direct me into a crash sight. I would think it might be hard to not hit the down guy, if the track worker directed everybody on the "race track" into the crash sight. Do we think the movie "Idiocracy" is going to take 500 years? You just saw it at Orlando 2. Who hires these guys?
wow, robertson just didnt acknowledge the front riders.. made a bone move and cost martin the season
By the time he’s realised Martin was not jumping the double he’s basically taking off to do the double and it’s way too late do take avoiding action. Probably hard to see the speed difference in the moment and it just happened in a split second. It sucks but it’s just a racing incident and I don’t think Robertson should be catching so much flack for it.
Let’s just hope for a miracle and he’s somehow ok.. both brothers.
@@Shoorit that accident is very similar to Jeremys outdoor accident..... happened at the start....... rider (I think it was Justin Cooper) slammed into JMart knocking him off the track.......

I love SX!! You can be a spode from who cares, just making the main, and torpedo right into a race winner, first corner! Take him out, make a name for yourself. Roll around in 19th place, but hey, you get to tell your budds, hey man, that was me that jumped on Jmart. SX is on life support.

What the hell are you going on about? J mart rolled in the first corner. Everyone else was jumping. It’s not like Robertson (who has already made a name for himself in the amateur ranks) schemed and thought “hmmm, I think I’ll land on someone and possible cost me the season.” It’s not ones fault but Martins. He rolled when he knew everyone was flying out of the gate. Shit happens.
