New 2024 Smart #3 SUV Coupe ⚡440 Km Range, 12.8-inch Screen, and Beats Sound System

Smart has officially launched its first-ever sports utility coupé, the Smart #3, at an exclusive brand event during the Auto Shanghai.
The information on the Chinese government site doesn’t include powertrain data, but the news says the #3 will be offered with the same motors as its little brother.
That would mean entry-level cars are in line for a single-motor that sends 268 hp to the rear wheels, while the sporty Brabus version - seen here in orange paint and marked out by its slim nose scoop - adds a 154 hp motor to the nose driving the front wheels, for a total of 422 hp. Official figures for the Brabus #3 say it can get to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds.
The Smart #3 will be presented to the European audience at IAA in September 2023, before launching in the respective European markets early next year.
As for price, expect it to cost a fair bit more than the smaller Smart #1. Somewhere around the $50,000 mark is a safe bet.
Further details on the new smart #3 for the European market will be released at a later stage.
