Let’s be honest, we all know they’ll release an ascended adult Tiki as well.
and people think Camilla has too many alts. Counting both versions of Tiki there's a lot more of her then any other character. Can't wait for the TMS version of her though lol
The TMS version of Y!Tiki will be blue and have again the same part of Brave Tiki her weapon that she deactivates the enemy special if her res is higher then the enemy's
Tiki has 8, 9 after this including the adult ones,
young regular, summer, legendary, Fallen, Halloween, and now ascended
adult regular, summer, and Brave
Camilla has 9 regular, spring, New Year, Summer, Adrift, Hot springs, Brave, Pirate Duo with Hinoka, and now Ninja
So after this they'll have just as many as each other.
@@Blaze4ification That's if you're counting the duo which she isn't the lead unit for. Excluding it then Tiki has more. Besides I could see them Tiki a harmonized or Duo in the future. But either way it's an example of how many Tiki has. I'll laugh if Young Tiki gets a brave version this year though.

That's why I listed it, because it does count, just like I count Halloween Ninian despite being a duo with young Tiki. Especially because I highly doubt we'd see another Halloween Ninian in the future, or pirate Camilla, vs Tiki we could see an adult of similar seasons considering both have summer alts. Young and Adult Tiki are essentially 2 different characters so they could get dupes of seasonals or other specials. You can also have both units roaming in Aether Resort, I count harmonized and duos as both characters personally.
I know Tiki has a lot, you just said there's a lot more of her than every other character... buuuut technically Camilla has more even if brief for just a couple weeks. Then there's the popular Lyn with 8. Also depends on if you want to count gender swaps, like female Corrin has 7 alts, Male Corrin has 6, when put together that's 13.
I doubt it, don't think too many people would vote for young after adult won, young isn't as popular despite what IS thinks, and... depends if IS is counting them as the same character. If a character wins no matter their version they can't be voted on again, like Marth winning if it was FE1 of him voted on then FE3 him can't win, young Ike Path of Radiance won, older Radiant Dawn him can't win again. We'll have to wait and see how much they consider Adult Tiki being different enough... I would cry, but then laugh.
@@Blaze4ification That's fair, and you're right about counting each Tiki just like Ike from both FE 9 and 10. Sorta in that category of different character yet same character to some degree. Though I don't count characters like Robin and Corin as the same because of gender differences. Also Byleth it's 2 different characters even excluding that idea since they have two different names in Japanese. (Person shrugging emote here) but it is what it is.
I was just laughing like crazy during this reveal. I believe there was a guy on Reddit doing a theorycraft for the next banner, and like half of the units are on this banner.
I was expecting ascended Tiki at some point, but I didn't think it was gonna be this soon. I love Tiki in all her forms, and make no mistake, I WILL be summoning for her. However, for the sake of adult Tiki fans, I was hoping her ascended form would be adult as well.

Im glad someone else noticed this. I get young tiki is a moneymaker in japan, but adult tiki is the same in the west. Its even the same VA. Havent we sent enough feedback to IntSys yet?
@@traskth Same VA here. I heard adult's Japanese VA is Pikachu's, so they don't want to deal with her cost/schedule.
For Naga's sake, they can't even give Adult Tiki a resplendent outfit.
And yeah, Adult Tiki is a bigger deal in the west. We STILL never got FE3, and Shadow Dragon was extremely light on non-recruitment character dialogue, so child's biggest impact is in crossovers and side stories like TMS, Warriors, and Heroes itself. Adult Tiki IS the main series Tiki for the west.

Also, Ascended Tiki is more of a variant than a power creep, I'd say. She has her advantages, sure, but she's mainly seen as "better" because Brave Tiki is weak to Brave Seliph. Fine and dandy, but there's no shortage of meta blue units to give Ascended Tiki a hard time.
Ascended Tiki I'm noticing is more speed focused but lacks Null Follow-Up, so there are some hard choices to be made with her B and Sacred Seal skills. She also relies on more traditional breath-style special acceleration.
Brave Tiki is a mid-speed omni-breaker, which effectively gives her a pseudo-NFU against slow units with follow-up effects. She also pre-charges her special in-combat, so she doesn't have to worry about Guard effects, and her kit has stronger attack boosts. She is a bit weaker on recovery and AOE resistance, but I think she can afford to be.
... sigh, yeah I read that Tiki would be getting an ascension, oh boy hopefully adult Tiki, I'll farm orbs like crazy... but no, and I do have all Tiki alts young and adult, but I think I'll skip, pull her when she reruns on a legendary or mythic banner maybe. Ganglot definitely seems interesting and good, but yeah I splurged recently to finally get Ascended Idunn and... sigh, was hoping for Camilla and Fjorm/Laegjarn but nope none, not even the 4 star ninja, probably use my freebie on Fjorm/Laegjarn, sorry Camilla, another unit I have all alts for I have to skip on dang.
Anyways sadly will probably skip, and hoping no characters I like on Christmas, so I can super stock back up on free orbs. We just got Lyn, Fjormish, Female Corrin, unless it's Azura, Freya, or adult Tiki for Christmas I think I'll be fine, or Alm and Ike on the male side... hmmm but if it's a Selkie and Velouria duo all bets are off too, or Kaden and Keaton.

They're really slapping adult Tiki fans in the face, Tiki fans in general, that outfit much like brave Tiki's... it's not that different, I suppose if it's her FE3 alt that's fine, I haven't played it so I don't know, since it and the remake are Japanese only (reminding me I need to either finish Shadow Dragon DS on my Wii U or the original on Switch), but... meh, kit wise yeah wouldn't blame people if they empty their pockets for her, and hey at least she's not a green dragon for all those falchion users to slay, right adult Tiki and Ninian AHAHHAHAHAHAA... ha... ha.

I get that, but at the same time it feels a bit weird for it to be Tiki. Lots of important characters in 1 or 3. But I'm assuming they planned this out before Brave Adult Tiki. So lol
