American Security Council Foundation Sr. Analyst Laurence Sanford interviews Commander (Ret) Peter Bissett on the Navy ROTC program is investment in our youth. Commander Bissett is a former Navy engineer pilot who now heads the Navy ROTC program at Sebastian High School. He discusses how the ROTC program is more than preparation for military service it encourages good citizenship and community involvement. Many of the ROTC cadets do not go on to enlist in the military, but they learn leadership skills and how to have a good plan for their life path.
