- Here is the indoor footage from training my Disciple, today we reviewed the Iron Broom Sweep Technique. Hung Gar is known for its Iron Forearms and Deep Stances, but
what is not commonly discussed is the massive amount of throws this system has. Hung Gar has Joint Locks, Throws, Sweeps and breaks. It is not purely a striking art. Here are basic
traps, sweeps, set up, and takedowns for the Hung Kuen System.

At 5 min 30 Seconds this question gets answered. Put them on the defensive and seize control. This technique can be done is response to a strike or attack actively without waiting 😊
Mma came out and not one of thrse kung fu ppl won a single fight.
I practice plenty of kickboxing and MMA. This is a tradition from my past, comparing them is not something I do, it’s like comparing apples to oranges!!
