  • Welcome to another installment in the WORST TO BEST series. I review every album as a musician as I am a singer, song-writer and a bass-player, so you can expect slightly alternative viewpoint. It won't be the right one. Or the wrong one. Simply a different one. This time I decided to order all of the studio albums from one of my all-time favorite groups - GREAT WHITE from worst to best. This is part 1 and this time I decided to include audio samples as well. Enjoy :)

Greetings from Flint, Michigan! You are the only person on the internet who has ranked the Great White albums. No, they obviously have not gotten the recognition they deserve, good sir. The band rocks! Thank you for doing this. Subscribed.

thanks, my pleasure! There are quite a few bands that have never gotten the recognition they deserve and I'm waiting for having a bigger audience to cover them on this channel. :)

Hello my Slovakian friend. I tried to get Sail Away, almost impossible in the USA. I listen to your band , you are VERY GOOD. You seem to be the only one who ranks this Great band. Nobody else did and that is not deserved, this is a great band. , hope to catch them somewhere soon life. Greetings from a Swiss immigrated to USA from Florida.

Thank you! Yeah, I always love including audio snippets even though it often creates copyright problems.

For me, the set of albums from the debut through Let It Rock are solid. With a gun to my head, I'd probably pick Psycho City as my favorite. "Heartbreaker" from Hooked may be my favorite track overall from Great White.

I'd say from the debut until Can't Get There From Here - phenomenal band :-)

That saxophone was none other than Mr. Clarence Clemons from Bruce Springsteens Estreet band...brilliant player.

I think it has been pointed out before. If you like saxophone, check out my music, you're gonna really dig it. The first album came out in 2018, the second one will drop in 2 weeks.

Great White self titled debut is Heavy Metal
Self titled means a bands signature ✍🏻 album

One of the most underrated American bands. I loved them straight away from their debut until the Tribute to Led Zeppelin in 1999... after that, in my opinion, they lost their inspiration. Still great band....from a fan from Italy

It was Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Blvd. on the Sail Away track Gone With the Wind. He did a great job.

I've just watched an interview with Jack Russell where he talked about this.

Capitol records screwed the band over. That’s one reason they were not as successful. Capitol records changed presidents and a guy named Milgram took over & didn’t like the band so Hooked was not promoted same as the great Psycho City album. If you haven’t already read it. Read Jacks book . He explains all of this.
