You can chop and dry fresh herbs and put them in clean glass spice containers. You can also use them for extra salt or peppercorns. Any kind of spice that comes in plastic, you can switch out, so it will keep better.
Hey folks! This recipe as presented is excellent! (She is 100% correct. There is a world of difference after letting it chill for several hours. It simply does not taste right just freshly made.)
I use empty spice jars for everything.....as tiny vases......or bottles to root cuttings, I keep beads in them or leftover mixed paint for crafts. The list goes on and on.
I make many different spice blends and reuse only the glass spice bottles. Also, start using Redmond Real Salt. All the others have many toxins in them, anti caking agents, .... I love to dip pretzels in the dill dip. Yummy. Blessings, julie

Thank you!!! I’m going to make it today!!
You’re welcome! 😄 Enjoy!
This looks so yummy!
It is so much easier to use a stainless steel mixing bowl and a 'wire' whip!
Also, try freshly chopped dill weed and shredded onion. It will knock your socks off!
(Chill AT LEAST 8 hours before tasting!)
This is fantastic on cucumbers for a snack.
Completely agree!!
