The M.O.T centre that tested and past this car should be reported to the DVSA. All that damage was clearly part of the accident and should not have passed an M.O.T.
Don't get me wrong the repair is crap, but there is far worse on the streets and alot more dangerous repairs than that and loads of mint cars with air bags and loads of dodgy shit going on underneath

That light with the sliver inserts will be a golf r one as these came with full black headlights if specked With the 19” wheels from factory, 18s came with the sliver inserts. Weird I know but true

they didnt fit the rear crossmember for one reason, the rear chassis leg is screwed so they couldnt fit the cross member to begin with, id be fuming if i found that damage after buying it
I think someone saw your videos and must have thought I can do that too. So they bought an overpriced damaged car, tried to repair it and did came to the conclusion that they couldn't make a profit on it. So they desided to cut the corners and found for a shady MOT test station and paid a little bit extra. Then they looked for a young guy who want a cool sporty car from his frist money and exited as he was bought it. After a weekend or a show on someone else he started to realise that he bought a mistake.
you are literally describing me, I bought a golf mk6 2 months ago and 3 weeks after buying it it started to smell like exhaust fumes in the car, a mechanic found the problem with the catalytic converter. I have to buy a new one now but they are pretty expensive. As a foreigner its the last time I buy a car from a foreigner unless he gives me warranty. Its sad that these people keep ripping of young guys like me
You missed the seat belts that need replacing because the pretensioners have fired, and the airbags that are probably missing from the look of the fault reader, they will be the most expensive part

You have been building a brand for salvage repairs done right 👍, I wouldn't go anywhere near this, as if you sell it and something bad happens, it would be very damaging to your brand image. It wouldn't even be your fault, as you didn't repair it, but that wouldn't matter. I would break it if I were you. You could probably get 2 or 3 salvage Golf R's repaired out of that lemon.
Chrome lined lights were on the 6Rs with 18" wheels, the black lined headlights were on those that came from the factory with 19s. Considering the driver's side taillight isn't sequential, this prob had damage all the way down that side and they didn't bother matching the heads and tails.
Reminds me of an Audi SUV on an American TH-cam channel "repaired" with dry wall screws fired into it randomly. You can see why Chris at SRUK is very reluctant to touch cars previously badly repaired - the more you get into one the worse it gets.

18" wheel Golf R comes with chrome headlights, 19" comes with black. Those grill bits are all definitely gloss/piano black, and side rear vision mirror caps. Watching the rest now.
Not forgetting the gaping hole in the floorpan. Its horrific quite frankly. I would not want to be in a crash in that car again, given the steel has already been crumpled once. Its a basket case.....
The sad part is that the damage probably wasn’t even that bad to begin with. Somebody with some spare time could probably strip it down and build it back up nicely, but considering the millage and the fact that these aren’t collectible. It should just be parted out .. really sad. If you fix it I’ll watch though I’m not hard to convince. There’s a skirt missing hahahaha.
With the window Try going all the way to the bottom the hold the button down for 5sec then all the way to the top and hild the bottom up for 5 sec and see if thay works Everytime I disconnect my battery on my S3 this happens and the window only goes up cm at a time till you rest it. Basically tells the window were top and bottom is

A friend of mine got his BMW 140i smashed into front end really bad but insurance are fixing it and not writing it off!! seems to happen more often this now which could be dangerous. Car vertical is a good app for checking history of crashes repairs etc etc.
Lol on 7min 11seconds where you rub your hand you can see the whole sills was dented. They pulled it back and did a horrible filler job. You can still see the dent lines

A lot of these Repair Vehicles are repaired using parts taken from stolen cars and when they are as bad as this one I would almost be willing to bet My money on this being "Repaired" by some Criminal types.... I would give this a wide swerve if I went to view it as a potential car for buying..... Hat of to Saving Salvage for highlighting this shoddy repair scene.... a blight on the Honest Repairers whose work is nothing like this one.

No rust, just cracked no idea how it happened
I bought a cat s repaired fiesta st line from a garage on Rood End road, Oldbury, Birmingham, b688sr. On further inspection after buying problems upon problems, breaking noises, panels not aligned, tyre edges looked like they were cut with a Stanley blade! Wires hanging from bottom of bumper, a new windscreen had been fitted, but wipers didn't line up with it, because of cowboy repair. I'm still sorting these issues out today. Avoid these sellers, just wanted my money.
I think it was a better buy and probably less work to fix when it was damaged, it’s much more work now to fix it after it’s been butchered like it has been. Only one thing it’s good for and it involves no longer being on the road to screw over another owner

Like most comments I'd either part out and strip it, or do it properly but it all depends what money you have in it. i had golf mark6 tdi for 4 years. Same colour. Worst colour to have even if it looks good when its clean. The wings get dent so easily. Those are normal. Otherwise great handling on that car.

I’ve got a mk6 r project at the minute. Bought with a failed engine so fitting it’s replacement in the next few weeks.
Previous owner was a sweet old granny. She drove it only to the market every Sunday, never gave it full throttle as her right leg was shorter.

The front wheels will be off a scirocco r. They have a different offset to the golf ones but the same design.

Both golf r headlights, silver came with the cars with 18s black for cars with the 19” wheel package.

You need to twist the front VW badge clockwise to lock it back in place properly. Otherwise it may fall off.

The repairers name ‘Kerbside Repairs’ all wok covered by there comprehensive gate warranty (once goes through there gate warranty is void)😂😂
