I was able to order my eSight Go today. I’ve been on a waiting list so I’m super excited to receive it. I sent my prescription to them so when I receive my unit it should have the clarity you experienced when trying it with your glasses on. You guys do an awesome job, by the way.
I used Esight go for a couple of weeks. I agree that they are light and comfortable. I was hoping to be able to read music scores from my IPad with them. Couldn't. There was a slight delay in moving from line to line of music. That might be acceptable for reading a text , but it did not work for reading music. My next try will be Nu Eyes with the promise that they can install my music app (ForScore) on the phone attached to the glasses. We will see.
What do YOU think of the eSight Go so far? We would love to hear any specific questions you still have because we intend to make a detailed and in-depth follow-up to this unboxing in which we test the limits of the eSight Go! So be sure to post any lingering questions you still have in the comments. Thanks everyone, and don't forget to LIKE and share the video!
Hello, as stated in the video the individual in the video does NOT have a visual impairment. That being said, he has worked with people who have visual impairments for 13 years, so has a good handle on the technology and who it might work for. With your acuities and central vision loss you would potentially be a good candidate for a device like this, but as always we would suggest trying it for yourself since that is the only way to be sure.
I want to know when it’s coming to the UK and Europe and if they’ll be there by the end of this year. It would be nice to get one for Christmas for my Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. I checked on VisionAid’s website though and the page says it’s coming soon, due early 2025. They’re the suppliers of eSight in the UK. Is there a chance that they’ll come earlier?
My eyes had trouble putting together the two images on the eSight 3 when I tested it. Didn't have the same problem with things like the Acesight devices or Oxisigjt Onyx. Would the Go! be any different?
I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and find them helpful for many tasks….reading instructions, menus, viewing my iPad/tv, simple tool usage, viewing the traffic signal to walk, etc. for me, the nose clips are joy comfortable. As a magnifying device alone, the price is too high. However, I’m told there will be updates to likely include ocr, possible streaming and tweaks of the color filtering.if these happen within a 12-24 month timeframe, I’ll be much happier with this investment! Btw, I’m counting fingers at 2’ in one eye and 20/400 in the other.

Great device can’t wait to get a demo unit on their website. It still says join the way to list so it’s not released yet.
People have been getting in-home trials, maybe call eSight.
I’m getting my esight Go I purchased from a distributor very soon
Does the eSight device offer automatic magnification, or is it only manual?
If you mean do you have to zoom in yourself, then yes it is only manual.
I have an inquiry: my visual acuity is 20/400, and I suffer from central vision loss. What is the condition of the person who tested the device?

@ Thank you, dear. But regarding face recognition, from what distance was this?
@@abdullahalrashdee6761 Recognizing faces should be possible from a number of distances since you can adjust magnification from 1X to 24X.

I honestly don't know. On eSight's own website it still doesn't say they're officially released in North America!

Potentially. The eSight 3 had screens that could be adjusted for your pupillary distance. Maybe they were incorrectly adjusted for you?
@@VisionForwardTechConnect might have to check them out at a show.

Can the device be mirrored or connected to a computer? Also, how can it be used to look at a computer screen or tv? Thanks
We'll be releasing a full video next Thursday, October 3rd, so stay tuned for that and your questions will be answered!
