HYCAD is such a banger! Watching the cellphone footage of Automatic Sun, I can't wait for an official live video of that song to drop. It's their heaviest riff to date, IMHO. The Keep Me Fed album is going to take these ladies to the next level.

What stuck out in this one? Yeah, Dany's vocals. Pau living life on the drums. (BTW, that crash with holes is her favorite cymbal. A Sabian O-zone crash. Tons of sizzle) Ale taking up so much sonic space that Dany did not play guitar at all in the first two verses. I was standing on the rail at the sound board for this show at Pepsi Center with 8000 of my new closest friends. We all left that night with smiles on our faces, just shaking our heads. The Warning are just so good live. Jeremy, you would indeed love to shoot them. And the best part is, they are just so sweet, and goofy, and kind in real life. A number of us in The Warning Army have been working on Rob Squad. Hopefully this nudge will get us on their Female Friday radar. Thanks for sending us that direction.

If they never wrote another song, I have the playlist for the rest of my life. What I enjoy with that being said, are all their shorts where they are just being themselves, so down to earth, being sisters, living and loving. Just amazing and what we all overlook, are their incredible parents and family. They aren't some mooching freeloaders that are the demise of so many artists, but actually roll up their sleeves and help surround Dany, Pau and Ale with so much love. It's a testament to how incredible their parents are that they stay in the background and let their babies shine. I literally tear-up when I see a reaction like this- it's like our own daughters or nieces achieve something great most of us can only dream about- but what a great ride this is- love them- have never felt the emotion for a band like this. Transcends the music.

It’s funny how you mention the Sixters and the drummer, Kate Kuziakina 15 maybe 16 years old, because she won the contest of “Hit like a girl” at her age group which she was 10 and Pau was a Judge. Kate is the founder of the band in 2018 at the tender age of 10 I know her Kit looks very minimal but that shows you how good she is with a simple kit. Imagine what she can do with a bigger kit. Fun fact, when Kate founded the band in 2018 the girls ages range from 10-7 I think that’s crazy 🤯crazy good! The support these girls must have from their parents is got to be off the charts, especially going through a war torn country and obviously they had to leave Ukraine. The band could have easily been disbanded but with a lot of support now they are living in Germany and making music. What a story ❤ Like The Warning, so many talented kids coming up. It’s just amazing!
Wait untill you hear their new song "automatic sun" live! The official song comes out on the 5th of April. Many fan videos of their new song from tecate pal norte music festival at their hometown.
I wanted to point out to Jillian in particular where you referred the "fierce" part of Dany singing "towards the end". At that part all three of them are singing different overlapping verses which is something they've creatively done before with a few other songs (Funfact). When the camera has the stage side shot with Dany in the foreground and Ale in the background. That where you see Ale at the mic singing her verse so you can distinctly pick out her voice which we all love to hear when it's more pronounced. I know Jillian loves that and we do as well. Replay it later and you'll notice it more cuz you can isolate it better while watching. BTW their new single Automatic Sun's official release is Apr. 5th. Right now a lot of the fan videos have poor audio so it probably would be best to wait. There will be a live version from their Monterrey concert just professionally recorded ba few days ago but I'm not sure if that will be released first or the studio version. We'll have to see but either way it rocks harder than HYCAD and reminds me a lot of Dull Knives with its grit. ⚠⚡⚡⚡

I’m always looking, that is listening, for her cuz she’s “disguises” her voice it so subtly most of the time. There’s one interview they recently did at a local radio station in Mexico ‘EXA FM’ where they do an acoustic of MORE and you actually get to hear Ale’s vocal clear and crisp with no ambient noise masking. You both gotta hear that and your jaws will drop thinking why can’t we get more if that (pardon the pun). I’m not suggesting a reaction video on it just you both to personally to key in on her voice in that demo. Search in TH-cam. It’s easy to find. We tried to Warn Rob Squad on their latest Halestorm reaction, since there is a Segway with them and Lzzy Hale's gifting of the Gibson Explorer while on tour with them. They never seen the comments or replied. Hopefully they pay attention this time.
Actually The Warning experience remains incomplete without analyzing & comprehending their insightful lyrics. Driven by Pau's profound metaphorical poetry, The Warning stand out from the crowd by dint of their lyrics. Easily the most intellectual rock band to emerge in past few decades in terms of what they are saying and how they are saying it. Quite a few bands talk deep & abstract but mostly through allegories & straight forward imageries. However, it takes an intellectual poet like Pau to drop intelligent hints for listeners to decipher the message within a song. That is why it is metaphorical and not allegorical. Once we appreciate the subtle intelligence of The Warning then others do fade in comparison. Because a song is not about instrumentation or performance only. It is also about what is being said through it & how its musicality has been designed to complete the task. After a long time a band like The Warning have brought back the balance between lyrics & instrumentation in a song. In today's environment of show over substance, where the philosophy of less is more has been defenestrated, The Warning have reminded us about beauty in simplicity. No wonder when McCartney was recently queried about the secret to his legendary success, he replied with "I kept it simple".
Yes, Mr Sudeepdas, you are totally right. I fell into the rabbit hole because of the show AND the lyrics which I prefer to call poetry. Pau is a real genius of words. Actually I am trying to decypher Automatic Sun which is hard work. I hope their "new style" will not spoil this band feature.
@@georgrittel4243 The new album, Keep Me Fed, will not be at their usual high standards poetically speaking. For the 1st time the girls experimented with co-writers. So the level of English will be comparatively straight forward as we have seen in More, S!ck & HYCAD. Still in Automatic Sun we have phrases like "psychosomatic heart". We have to wait for the official video to understand the context. In S!ck there is "Bleeding just to feel alive" or "Why am I sinking when I'm fully grounded?" in More or "Suffering just for the thrill" in HYCAD. So they have sprinkled their intellectualism wherever possible. Apparently in an interview in Mexico, Pau had talked about her native English speaking co-writers not understanding metaphors & idioms that she proposed during the song writing process. Frustratingly for her they had to keep it simpler.

Dany had not played a Fender in years. Last sunday at a fest she used a new Fender on 3 or 4 songs.
Looked like 2 Fenders. A white/marble one and a dark matte one.

It’s funny how you mention the Sixters and the drummer, Kate Kuziakina 15 maybe 16 years old, because she won the contest of “Hit like a girl” at her age group which she was 10 and Pau was a Judge. Kate is the founder of the band in 2018 at the tender age of 10
I know her Kit looks very minimal but that shows you how good she is with a simple kit. Imagine what she can do with a bigger kit. Fun fact, when Kate founded the band in 2018 the girls ages range from 10-7 I think that’s crazy 🤯crazy good! The support these girls must have from their parents is got to be off the charts, especially going through a war torn country and obviously they had to leave Ukraine. The band could have easily been disbanded but with a lot of support now they are living in Germany and making music. What a story ❤

Today i pre-order the new album
I wanted to point out to Jillian in particular where you referred the "fierce" part of Dany singing "towards the end". At that part all three of them are singing different overlapping verses which is something they've creatively done before with a few other songs (Funfact). When the camera has the stage side shot with Dany in the foreground and Ale in the background. That where you see Ale at the mic singing her verse so you can distinctly pick out her voice which we all love to hear when it's more pronounced. I know Jillian loves that and we do as well. Replay it later and you'll notice it more cuz you can isolate it better while watching. BTW their new single Automatic Sun's official release is Apr. 5th. Right now a lot of the fan videos have poor audio so it probably would be best to wait. There will be a live version from their Monterrey concert just professionally recorded ba few days ago but I'm not sure if that will be released first or the studio version. We'll have to see but either way it rocks harder than HYCAD and reminds me a lot of Dull Knives with its grit. ⚠⚡⚡⚡

@@musikbyjh You guys do listen. I was just pointing out the Ale part knowing how much Jillian normally hones in on that stuff like I do. I’m always looking, that is listening, for her cuz she’s “disguises” her voice it so subtly most of the time. There’s one interview they recently did at a local radio station in Mexico ‘EXA FM’ where they do an acoustic of MORE and you actually get to hear Ale’s vocal clear and crisp with no ambient noise masking. You both gotta hear that and your jaws will drop thinking why can’t we get more if that (pardon the pun). I’m not suggesting a reaction video on it just you both to personally to key in on her voice in that demo. Search in TH-cam. It’s easy to find. Actually The Warning experience remains incomplete without analyzing & comprehending their insightful lyrics. Driven by Pau's profound metaphorical poetry, The Warning stand out from the crowd by dint of their lyrics. Easily the most intellectual rock band to emerge in past few decades in terms of what they are saying and how they are saying it. Quite a few bands talk deep & abstract but mostly through allegories & straight forward imageries. However, it takes an intellectual poet like Pau to drop intelligent hints for listeners to decipher the message within a song. That is why it is metaphorical and not allegorical.
Once we appreciate the subtle intelligence of The Warning then others do fade in comparison. Because a song is not about instrumentation or performance only. It is also about what is being said through it & how its musicality has been designed to complete the task. After a long time a band like The Warning have brought back the balance between lyrics & instrumentation in a song. In today's environment of show over substance, where the philosophy of less is more has been defenestrated, The Warning have reminded us about beauty in simplicity. No wonder when McCartney was recently queried about the secret to his legendary success, he replied with "I kept it simple".
Yes, Mr Sudeepdas, you are totally right. I fell into the rabbit hole because of the show AND the lyrics which I prefer to call poetry. Pau is a real genius of words.
Actually I am trying to decypher Automatic Sun which is hard work. I hope their "new style" will not spoil this band feature.
@@georgrittel4243 The new album, Keep Me Fed, will not be at their usual high standards poetically speaking. For the 1st time the girls experimented with co-writers. So the level of English will be comparatively straight forward as we have seen in More, S!ck & HYCAD. Still in Automatic Sun we have phrases like "psychosomatic heart". We have to wait for the official video to understand the context.
In S!ck there is "Bleeding just to feel alive" or "Why am I sinking when I'm fully grounded?" in More or "Suffering just for the thrill" in HYCAD. So they have sprinkled their intellectualism wherever possible.
Apparently in an interview in Mexico, Pau had talked about her native English speaking co-writers not understanding metaphors & idioms that she proposed during the song writing process. Frustratingly for her they had to keep it simpler.
