We all thank the Thai and Thailand for the beautiful sport they have all gifted us. They are still and will always be the true masters and teachers of this art.
The Thai peiople are some of the kindest most genuine people that I've ever met. It's no surprise that they only say positive things about people who honor their martial art.
This makes complete sense to me. I dream of training in Thailand. If I can find the magic combination of time and money to travel and train in Thailand, you can bet I wont be f*****g around in the gym.

Makes sense. If you leave your own country for Thailand with the goal of fighting in front of a big crowd, you've obviously gotta have a lot of dedication, focus etc.
I always tell my fellow Indians that you may emulate western actors, rockstars and fashion, but what should be emulated is their discipline.

Muay Thai is the true Gold of Thailand 🇹🇭
It's selection bias. A foreigner in Thailand doing Muay Thai is serious enough about it to travel away from their home country. A Thai person in Thailand might just live down the street from a gym and try it out for fun.
This is true, I coach, and fight, in Thailand and myself and my farang fighters get treated very well by promotors etc.
Thai people come across as the nicest people around!

From my experience being in Thailand, foreigners tend to win many of the low level fights since we have come here for the sole purpose of Muay Thai, and many Thais treat fights with the sincerity of a football match. High level there are very few foreigners that can keep up to speed with the Thais imo
