very cool, as an beginner animator myself i find it cool that techniques used in live action can be used in the animation industry as well, great overall video. Also keep reppin Silvagunner
Just randomly found this while searching up for moon animator tutorials, this tutorial is so in-depth with a history behind it and diagrams and graphs to help you understand it. Underrated channel.
4:19 ah beloved sohcahtoa i've never seen a boblox tutorial thorough as this, very easy to follow along with and i love the in depth explanation. i hope to see more!
I use this technique using a zoom lens on my sony camera whenever I'm doing videography. I find it real interesting for someone to explain it using game videography terms and especially in something like Roblox. Neat video, love the work!
You earned my sub with this fire vid. Very informative and i actually have the same project before but mine sucks. This is well explained, good job! Just a bit of suggestion though, maybe boost your voice in the video a little bit and decrease the bg music volume
i have never gotten into nor have i been interested in making roblox animations but this is still one of the most interesting videos ive seen in awhile
I actually watched vertigo for a school project. the project was about how can one make a movie that's set entirely within a single room with mostly one or two camera angles. neat video by the way! Fun fact! The 1997 film "The Cube" is also set entirely within a single room. and yes, the actors did have to go through the tediousness of going from one side of the set to the other just to make it seem like they've actually moved into a different room!
@@RoSpecVidPro No need, youtube is enough for many people to see ;) But I am gonna join your discord pretty soon tho, interested what is going on there.
dear god school has been teaching me for years and i have enough fingers on ONE hand to count the things they have actually taught me you just taught me one of the most useful things ive ever heard in like 7 minutes edit: oh and you gave me a good pose to draw at 3:07 bcuz im practicing seriously, thanks dude
The “Kubrick Stare" is one of Stanley Kubrick's most recognizable directorial techniques, a method of shot composition where a character stares at the camera with a forward tilt, to convey to the audience that the character in question is at the peak of their derangement.
7 min vid to just zoom out? im up for it! anyways that grinev (vfilm) drift just stood out :D nvm that was too much for my brain to work on a roblox animation so u get a sub :D
Also the song used isa remix(?) Sounding thing of a song called "Memory lane" made by AcesToAces, recognisable from the sound of the lyrics I have watched enough Kenadian to know that song well enough to recognise the assets used in Memory Lane :)
hey can you please make a tutorial on animating the cameras movement? I been trying to animate cameras but the animation just look stiff any tip for fixing that?
Vertigo Effect... I wonder if the same concepts can be in Blender. But in 2D, how does it work? I've seen how trippy FOV is. The further, the more trippy.

I wasn't expecting to see such an in-depth video on the track and zoom effect, with a brief history of it too. This is awesome!
No problemo
you know the video is fire when youre failing geometry and are generally slow as a person, but you still understood everything
0:13 Or does it? *Cue Vsauce Intro music*
This made me giggle
Better yet Michael has done a dolly zoom in one of his videos.
