The last guest is still so fucking fire.. Just as how i remembered it.. It is where the roblox movies peaked.. [not in the visuals but rather in the storytelling]
The Last Guest is the best Roblox animation ever. Not to say “EvErYtHiNg ElSe SuKs”, but it is a masterpiece despite the quality of animations back then.

The fact the last guest became an actual movie for a little while just proves how amazing ObliviousHD is. I remember watching The Last Guest every day. There’s something about that film that is so nostalgic.

Honestly, back then, I didn't even know it was for HALO.

Much of the first act plot in the Last Guest is lifted straight from some viral try not to cry challenge that had a webcomic that has the same premise of 'growing up with childhood friends, get married to one of those childhood friends, get drafted for war only to sacrifice their life in the middle of it after their best friend got shot and have their loved ones mourning the dude's grave' with some major changes (unfortunately it's unlisted but people kept a link of it around online luckily enough). I had this on my mind long ago because the entire opening scene with Oblivious's self-insert and the guest hiding behind a cover is just pulled from that final part in the webcomic where the same event basically happens except; there's no main villain on the webcomic, the one who sacrifices in Oblivious's movie has enough plot armor for them to live for the entirety of those four acts thanks to the second act (arc where they switched to the bacon hair protagonist's POV and Colonel) retconning the fact that he had died before all the four separate acts were combined altogether into one.
You know, I should have really brought up that old try not to cry challenge story in this video...
Weirdly enough that "Try not to cry" webcomic was related to gaming as it portrayed the MC as one of those NPCs/Enemies you would just shoot down out of like thousands IIRC.

Ngl, when i watched Admins vs Hackers again i swear on my life there was more action idk what mandela effect occurred which just made the story more bland like i swear there was a scene where some hacker was accumulating power and everyone was tryna stop him. Now when i watched it again i was just like "Wheres that scene? Wheres the action bro??"

You should to a video on PTFS films which are a subgenre of Roblox flight sim crash films. They aren’t animated but use the limitations of the Roblox engine to tell their story, and although the stories can be questionable sometimes, they are quite unique.
it mostly depends on which type of Roblox film you like really, I’m more into the lesser-known serious (sometimes with blood) Roblox films, I recommend Hostage 2019 (by 101stopmotion) & Yoichiro: Old Unit: Part One (Jackiepwners). Hostage is more story-focused, while Y:OU is more action-driven. both of them have no voice-overs & no bully-plot points. (which improves those films much more for me.)
there is, however, an inappropriate & questionable shot around 39:24-39:35 on Hostage unfortunately, but aside from that, it’s a pretty good film. (there is also a gory death scene around 1:08:03-1:11:42 of course)
but yeah, I’ve enjoyed this video, good effort. 👍 (I’ve subscribed BTW)

As a guy who watched Admins vs. Hackers, the film that was released in parts (I'll name it the 'original' film) is 100% different, EVEN THE START. I liked the original film more than the other one.

it's been made on blender and i'd say the quality is almost same as "operation: silent dawn".

That's not a bad idea, if you fleshed it out with interesting characters and a well built ROBLOX world (unlike Admins VS Hackers) you could make an awesome story out of that.

Theres one entire roblox series called intervention that Is about a roblox game called "Isle" the season 1 animation And voice acting Is ok.. i Guess although Its mostly AI (the voice acting)
But season 2 looks So much better And i feel like it will look really good when all the episodes come out (theres curently only 1 episode of season 2 And it looks 20x better than all season 1 episodes ať some points

A Random Baseplate is the movie I'm working on... I want to get some trailers out this year/early next year for a Kickstarter but the real film will probably release in 2027... It's a big project.
