Just got to my car, sat outside my 8 year old daughter's tap and ballet class... And I jump on TH-cam to kill 45 minutes, and this is on live. Not a new tune to me, it's well played in my car, but your reaction is just what I needed on a rainy evening in the UK guys. As a semi professional musician myself I'v watched so many talented guys and girls who would wipe the floor with many so called radio played artists and got no comercial recognition but they were a part of my life and many others musical experience, and on some occasions made some artists who heard them be successful. Some were never discovered until they passed. But we all do it not for recognition but for the love of music. As one artist once said the worst thing that happened to me was I got paid to play music and then I had to perform no matter how I felt, where before I would do it for nothing.

I've always loved the bass part on this song. I always assumed it was Ren but found out recently that it was a guy called Kit Perkins who was in a Welsh Indie band called Milk. So shout out to Kit !

Every once-in-a-while an artist comes along that breaks all norms, but his or her music is SO skillfully performed and produced, it demands your attention. THIS song has so much in it, even if it is more on the chill side. His voice also surprised me again on this one. So Orlean’s real name is Jimmy Sharp. I think it’s been many years since he was active on social media as Orlean but I believe he recently produced a track for Ed Sheeran but don’t quote me on that. It's a K-Pop world now. I don't like it but one of my friends has made 30 million off of it. He wants me to start making it and I have to refuse. It is just not for me to make something that does not make me HAPPY and that is what music is truly about. The sounds that make you the happiest a lot of times are the ones you make yourself. And your own words that you put down on paper are your favorite. Its a great feeling to be yourself and free and one with your own music.

I tried to find more about Orlean when I first heard his voice but it seems like he went "out of business" since this was recorded. Similar to Eden Nash: she allegedly runs a travel vlog on Insta but no new music on her channel either.
Ren manages to find and perform with these incredible artists but none of them got the numbers and airtime like he did - not even Chinchilla or Sam Tompkins, although he's doing well I guess. On that note: Romain just like Gorran or Liv Sangsters deserve way more attention. Gorran's on the way back to the UK; let's hope we can enjoy new stuff from the lads aka "The Big Push".
