Let's forget this current administration. It is already a lost game. Nigerians should start preparing for 2027 to vote knowledgeable and credible people into the executive and legislative arms. This is the only way out of the mess that our nation has become. But they will still end up mortgaging their rights for #5,000, or voting along tribal and religious lines. Nigerians are their own problems.
Those in the legislative arms across all levels lack the credibility and intellectual firepower to do their jobs.
Does the National Assembly have an R&D department? Do they have a working relationship with the academia in tertiary institutions? The US Congress has such structures.
