I've never really been interested or enjoyed discussions about the law or judicial issues. But I watched this to the end and thoroughly enjoyed it. The insights were very enlightening.
Thank God for honest people like the retired judge. People like Abati must think twice on how they celebrate judgements and describes it as unassailable, only to have the judges themselves confessing the on going atrocities in the judiciary.
Dr. Abati wears politically correct, acts and speaks the same. We look for Rufai when we need the nail hit on the head. May God bless and keep Rufai alive and protected.
Of course, Abati is on his own different lane entirely. His spell in ASO VILLA with the GEJ’s time seems to have either changed him so much or brought out visibly who he actually is.
Abati says Nigeria is about “turn by turn”, yet he hasn’t any evidence to show why anyone from the South East has remained avoided, shortchanged or fought on the platform of ethnicity or religion. Anyone else from other areas of Nigeria does not have a tribe, sheee? Only when Igbos aspire to be President, tribe tag is hung on their neck to kill their aspiration. Mtcheeew!!
There is no freedom for Nigeria unless you free the major component parts who were never together before the British came. Zik & Co set a workable confederation arrangement called and ran as Regions. That arrangement has been jettisoned since 1966. An attempt to re-enact it in 1967 by eastern leaders was met with cunning but dangerous regional sentiments from the north while the west was silent: this led to war. Since after the war, nobody seems to agree that the problem of Nigeria started from when the original arrangement was jettisoned in 1966. Nothing will ever work in Nigeria unless you go back that arrangement or something similar to it, period.
Watching from Paris and never get tired of listening despite my day stress. I think it’s the best at the moment ❤ Thanking you all for your fearlessness. It’s well with Nija.
Wow! One of the most revealing interview. Thank you guys for shading more light into the rotten system that has brought Nigeria under. I once told my brother that Nigeria is not a nation, it's an enterprise.
The corruption in Nigeria judiciary is deeply crazy and rotten. Tomorrow Dr Abati will be telling us that laws don't care about Nigeria people's feelings and emotion as well as how Nigerians talk about corrupt judgements they always give.

Thanks for the update. I really like how Mr. Olisa Agbakoba ( SAN) answered the questions directed to him. Most importantly, the way he analyse the whole judicial process. We really need reforms in the judiciary and other sectors. The systems we have at the moment is working. I also appreciate Mr. Rufai oseni's contribution about the culture in Nigeria. The way we do things in Nigeria is not good for the progress of the country. I don't mean the law abiding citizens but those at the helm of affairs of our nation.
Now I see why only the corrupt interviewees and leaders are angry with Rufai Oseni. He's a tough, smart and sound journalist. This is one of the best and longest interview I have ever glued to my phone to watch. Complete 50mins. Nigeria has a long way to go. From this interview, it shows the messiah is yet to come and I wonder the messiah will ever come to Nigeria rescue. These are mind blowing revelations
This was a clear difference between the old order Abati and RUFAI, the futuristic order and clear way of clear reform of our great country, Nigeria. Gangsterism ruins a country, wake up Nigerians ❤❤❤

Thank you to your guest for always enlightening us. Let the culture start from Dr Abatti who sits there and openly states that “public opinions does not matter”.
I really like Agbakoba. He is sound academia and erudite. He looks young too, I can't believe that he is up to 70, and he is looking like 50s. Continue letting us know more about the judiciary system, sir.
Oga when u sow a seed we all reap it. No one will reform jack. The young Lawyers are watching, you think they will stand and watch una destroy the system and make money n u want them to reform. STORY!!!!
If there's anything Nigerians should strike on seriously is the threatining powers of Mr Bola Tinubu as a person considering his attitude we all now know. This 're why almost the entire Nigeria criticise him being their President.
This is a critical concern and question which must be answered by politicians and our leaders in Nigeria. Do we really want to be a country? To what extent does one become a citizen of the country? We need to build the institutions that make us a country.
At Dr. Abati, I am surprised at your continuous use of Mr. Agbakoba, for Dr. Olisa Agbakoba. I can remember your unrestrained chastisement of the Arise News Lady presenter ( not sure her name but I guess she is no longer in Arise,?) who called you by Mr Abati, and you couldn't wait off stage to address that but here yiu are consistently echoing Mr. Agbakoba. Please recall what is good for the goose is good for the gander. It won't be good to be seen that you take for granted this humble SAN's doctorate achievement. Especially when you recall, that he got there before you. Thank you sir, for proper review.
All the unfolding events about the judiciary in recent times have revealed that the judiciary is never the last hope of the common man. The judiciary is now a hereditary institution for the highest bidder. It's a pity. The country is heading somewhere.
Nigerians just know how to complain . We all know the problem, let us act and solve the problem. The CJN, president , governors, senators & house of rep are all civil servants meant to serve Nigerians and not RULE over Nigerians. Nigeria's constitution was made to keep crooks in power by giving them absolute powers. For example, how can the sitting president be the sole person to appoint the INEC chairman & RECs yet you expect the opposition to win any elections? The Obidients are fighting the wrong battle. Firstly, the Obidients need to team up with all opposition parties to push for electoral amendment such as:-(1) Bvas + Irev being the ONLY means of transmission of electoral results, any other means will be invalidated (2) the president cannot appoint INEC chairman + RECs, all registered parties must have a say in the appointment (3) the CJN cannot appoint judges that will hear electoral matters etc and so on. Any opposition party that plans to run in 2027 without fighting for electoral reforms is wasting their time. Like the old adage says:- " Its only a fool that repeats the same thing over and over again yet expects a different outcome"
I'm here for Dr Rufai. The authentic concience and truthful man. Like he said if you are unjust the day they will look for the just they won't find you. The orangutan should take note. Everytime he keep quoting law terms, whilst my lawyer friend here says the orangutan is talking trash. Agbakoba stop deceiving yourself, one thing the tribunal judgement thought every layperson is law by technicality, don't use that on us, playing on our intelligence. The man categorically called out the recent CJN, was the recent CJN not the one that currently swore his son in as a judge when people more better are meant to go through rigorous process, You see these your generation we cannot wait to clear you all and build a better Nigeria. What do you people think we are, fools?
Dr Abbatti has been largely silent!!!🤣🤣🤣 This just shows there’s been some bullying going on in that Arise studio. Please Rufai, Nigerians recognize what you go through in the hands of Dr Abatti, we see the mirror. Be strong and take your rightful place!!!

Have you got an alternative? The whole populace is all round clowning 🤡 😮😢

This is a critical concern and question which must be answered by politicians and our leaders in Nigeria. Do we really want to be a country? To what extent does one become a citizen of the country? We need to build the institutions that make us a country.
God bless you Rufai. The Lord will continue to protect you.
I love you SAN Sir. Thank you for being true.
At Dr. Abati, I am surprised at your continuous use of Mr. Agbakoba, for Dr. Olisa Agbakoba. I can remember your unrestrained chastisement of the Arise News Lady presenter ( not sure her name but I guess she is no longer in Arise,?) who called you by Mr
Abati, and you couldn't wait off stage to address that but here yiu are consistently echoing Mr. Agbakoba. Please recall what is good for the goose is good for the gander. It won't be good to be seen that you take for granted this humble SAN's doctorate achievement. Especially when you recall, that he got there before you. Thank you sir, for proper review.
Abati is a a big fool
All the unfolding events about the judiciary in recent times have revealed that the judiciary is never the last hope of the common man. The judiciary is now a hereditary institution for the highest bidder. It's a pity. The country is heading somewhere.
Well done guys, you guys know your jobs very well. No weapon formed against any of you shall prosper in the Name of Jesus 🙏🏻❤
I just love Arise tv , I hope it becomes most watched tv in the world.
Rufai, upholding the tenets of the fourth realm. Keep it up, Rufai. You are doing well. Nice comments from Mr. Agbakoba.
Rufai earned his doctorate degree! Cudos to you my guy! 👏🏼
It's not degree
It's character

God bless Rufai for his level of honesty in inquiry, same with our dear lady.
Olisa is a boss, Rufai is so direct, and Arise doing a good job as usual.
Great interview with Sir Olisa. Worth my time.
Rufai the fearless tiger, Agbakobo SAN is a man of integrity. Judi-sharing we have now favours the highest bidders.😢
THIS IS SPOT-ON AND TOP-NOTCH
Mr Agbakoba is a great Man. May he lives long to join the fine tuning the Country name Nigeria.
Dr Abati is the smartest & wisest of them. He a lot more older. So wisdom plenty
@@Peggyg13Ruben is a Nigeria politician
@@Peggyg13Mr Abati ( can’t refer to him as a Dr.) is a politician and as corrupt as an old school politician. He is terrible. Rufai is a fearless Journalist who fights for the masses.
@@emmanueladeyosoye3607Very senseless statement. You are obviously an Agbado supporter. If you are in Nigeria, hope you are enjoying the Agbado and ewa
@@adaorahi being in Nigeria has no relevance but I understand politics more than most people . Those who know know . Just typical Nigerian response
A systematic way of life 👍 government that will practice this, without minding whom or your position in office will definitely change Nigeria for better. Thanks to you all.
I love the conversation between Rufai and Agbakoba.... Culture is key.
Rufai chaiii you re my guy always.
Ayo I love you. Such a brilliant lady with excellent touch.
Dr Abatti ur institution is in fire.
