Man, I haven’t commented in a while (life and jazz), but I just heard this song now and it’s just perfection. Not only is the art and video editing amazing, but the lyrics and vocals are divine. Caaaarl does great as Veronica and really sells being the big bad of this song. And every single person singing as the lords does amazing! Because I first listened to this on Apple Music, I had the biggest grin when realizing who was who. And the harmonies and duets bring me chills and almost a tear to my eye. For someone who loves Fire Emblem and has been playing Heroes since the beginning, it feels epic and nostalgic to hear this. And the chorus doesn’t just fit Heroes, but feels like the overarching theme of the series, being far from home but having to fight for your family and the good of the world. Together you ride to war, and this really encapsulates that feeling. Thank y’all for this amazing song and video, make sure you’re taking breaks, and keep doing amazing songs!
Fire Emblem rocks, seriously underrated series. If you're ever interested, I'd recommend starting with Awakening on the DS if possible. Almost all of the games are seperate times/universes so you don't have to worry about playing in order

I've been a fan of Fire Emblem for a while, and I've been playing Fire Emblem Heroes since it came out, I would stop every now and then but, still play it till this day!!! It's hard to see it, but yeah, the Heroes we summon are taken away from their homes, kinda messed up..but they fight for the ones they love, and to protect WORLDS from evil!!! Plus...they get to be reunited with lost friends, families, and lovers/their children (': FEH really is beautiful, and I'm glad that you guys did this!!! BIG FAT THUMBS UP😁🖒
I've listened to this so many times, and I've always been so drawn to the segment starting at 3:12 and like... It took me an embarrassingly long time until I realized all the way that this segment slap. For a long time, I thought it was mostly just how strong Veronica's influence is there and the sheer power of the word "die". Then I noticed that she's the only one to have a rhyme there with sins/win, though that felt a bit weird since her other two lines didn't rhyme. And it wasn't until today that I realized that she's stealing the rhymes from the heroes - alone/atone, family/you will see, with ride/die (maybe even might as well?) being an imperfect rhyme... which all makes Embla not rhyming with anything all the stronger. Musically, Veronica is subverting everything the heroes try to do and using it as her own, taking control of the narrative - fully wrestling it away from them at the end with the destabilizing imperfect rhyme, leaving the subject of her power and target of her loyalty and goal without a rhyme - without an equal.
Oh, my gosh!! I have been silently hoping for a Fire Emblem video and here one is! I clicked immediately... Hearing the vocals in this, I know that if you chose to do a cover of The Edge of Dawn in the future, it would be beautiful. This video really made my day though! It's so good!

Late to the party… I really like how for the line “For kingdom and family” (at 3:19) It’s Camila and Ephriam who show up. In the Sacred Stones Eirika, despite being against conflict is dragged into the war to try and find Ephriam. Ephriam, invading Grado Keep is trying to insure his sister’s safety. Camila, I’ll admit I don’t know much about but she does fight for her family in-game. (I haven’t played Fates, sorry)
