Thanks for watching! If you’re looking for more ideas for walks in Yorkshire then we have a playlist here: th-cam.com/play/PLklu2vvKTLyqZPH3wyGr0m14TkIQHFhzc.html
This whole area is so beautiful, it is not surprising that one section took almost an hour. I love how there are so many falls to view from this trail, it would be so cool to live on that farm along the trail!
Yeah we've learned by now that if we're taking cameras with us on a walk, then take whatever the estimated time is and double it 😅 It was such a beautiful walk. Thanks for watching!
That's good to hear! Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is one of my favourite places we have been so far in the Yorkshire Dales (it does have competition from the Muker walk we did, but that will be best in June rather than Feb half term as it takes you through wildflower meadows). I hope you have a fantastic trip!
Thankyou for a brilliant and well informed video, we have visited a few waterfalls this spring visit to the area, High force, Cauldron snout, Hardraw force and also Aira force, they are all stunning but Aira force was probably our favourite as you are able to get up close and personal. As we had such a great time we are booked to come back to the region in October when, hopefully we will have had some substantial rainfall and we fully intend to visit Ingleton then, like you said in your video they should be a lot more breathtaking. Once again thankyou and good luck with this TH-cam channel. Martin and Debbie
Thanks for the lovely comment 🙂 Yes, hopefully there will be some rain just before your October visit! If not it's still a fantastic area to walk. I don't know Aira force...gave it a google, is it near Ullswater? It looked great in the photos anyway!
Wonderful trail in beautiful countryside, waterfall, and amazing tree with all those coins. Well done, my friends 👍. Big like and full play. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend 😀.
Yep, so many waterfalls, it's great! And that money tree was cool....we also saw wooden carved toadstools that people had stuck coins in too. Thanks for watching 😊
Been twice over the years and each time we were too late and still never done it yet! It's on my must do list this year but after we have had a good bit of rain, too dry at the moment, cheers Alan
Oh no, too late because there was no parking left? We got there early...and I mean EARLY... we were literally the first people on the trail that day! I hope you do get to do the walk this year. Good plan to wait for rain. There hadn't been a lot before our trip so it must look amazing after a wet spell! I'm sure the English weather will be able to sort that one out for you soon though 😄 Thanks for watching!
Did the waterfalls look really powerful after all the rain we've had this month? I've been thinking to myself recently that I bet Ingleton Falls look amazing right now after the soggy month we have just had! (this video was filmed in April when it was much drier). Glad you had a great day 🙂 Thanks for watching our video!
@@OurTravelPlace lets just say the sheer noise was enough to understand the power of such..nature is amazing and to walk through the trail, to be away from everyday hussle and bussle..it was just perfect to be with nature.. thanks for the reply!
Nice. I picture a house on/over some falls like that in that general area, the historic West Riding of Yorkshire. With some water diverted for a natural pool and hot tub, heated with solar ideally.
It's never been free. It used to be run as 2 separate walks. One run by a Mr Worthington and the other by a Mr. Hopkinson. They both charged to enter. 2d and 3d respectively. They merged in 1890s and it has been run by the Worthington family ever since. They have had to comply with health and safety which has been quite expensive. Strong metal bridges, concrete steps and security fencing now in place. They do not detract from the exceptional scenery and wildlife.
@@OurTravelPlace thanks, yes we’ve done it a number of times, great to see it again though. Your videos are very helpful though in showing us new places to go to.
Amazing and helpful post and pictures! Planning trip to Dales in May.....is it possible to visit this fall and Aysgarth Falls without renting a car? Appreciate all help!
Hi, thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it! I'm not sure where you will be based (if you are staying in the dales) but there is the dales bus service (www.dalesbus.org/) although they haven't released their summer timetable yet. It does look like Ingleton and Aysgarth are two places covered by the dales buses. So I suppose it depends on where you will be coming from as to how easy each will be! I wouldn't try and do them both in one day myself, but I'm not sure if that's what you meant anyway :) Hope you have a great trip! We love the dales :D
The trail itself starts right next to the car park. I would say the first set of falls was probably... 1-1.5 miles into the walk? So around 30 minutes walk. It took us a lot longer but we were filming and getting distracted!

Yes it was a beautiful trail - one I have been meaning to do for a long time. Thanks for watching, hope you have a nice weekend too!
Beautiful hike! The money tree was so cool! So many falls in one hike! Love that!

I’ve been there and the waterfalls just keep going
And the river doe makes the strid look like a small stream
Great place
The Strid may be narrow, but it is VERY dangerous.
This is a well taken care of trail! Incredible waterfalls! That high anyone would be a little nervous!
Yes it's stunning... it's been raining here a lot the last couple of weeks too so I bet the waterfalls look even better right now! Thanks for watching
Loved it. Beautiful content to watch with kids. A rarity in recent times.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you and the kids enjoyed it!

Such a beautiful trail and the waterfalls have such scenic views! I had no idea how beautiful the countryside of England was. 😊
It really is... I know I'm biased but I think Yorkshire countryside is hard to beat! 😄 Thanks for watching
Such a fun video vlog guys! Those waterfalls were absolutely stunning. :)
They are! I had wanted to visit for so long 🙂
Went there today. Such a beautiful place!

That sounds perfect! 😄
Great video thanks
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
What a beautiful walk! We definitely wish we had more waterfalls in our area, sadly we are dry as a bone.
It is definitely a benefit of the rain! You guys get all that sunshine though :)
Remember doing this so many times as a kid, sure it used to be free and there used to be a open swimming pool at the end of it

@@travelswithmygoprograemeha7031 Brilliant, I'm happy to hear that! :)
Beautiful
wonderful!
It's a beautiful place!
Many years ago, that farm was always a stop off point for a very welcome pint of ice cold milk, though they didn't do it last time I went.
Good job
Thank you!
Awesome place to spend the day THANKS
Great channel see you again all the best Cheers 👍👍😍

Wow! That money tree is really cool.. I have never seen anything like that before, but it makes me want to shove coins in every downed tree I see haha
Haha, I did spot another tree and some carved toadstools that had also had the coin treatment!
I’m going tomorrow yayyy
Yay, have a great time! 😀
I was there around that time too. Are we not going to mention the expansive patches of wild garlic growing along the path at that time of the year?
How long walk from car park to water 💦 falls?

Hello video good

Have to pay? Whats that all about
It's because most of it falls on private land, so the money goes towards maintaining the walk and facilities
Hey do you play resident evil
@@OurTravelPlace oh just asking lol
Is that waterfall safe to stand and have a shower in?
No
