Not so long ago I realized I've been listening to Max' music for more than 30 years, first with Sepultura then with Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy. For 30 years of my life he's been there. Thanks Max for all the great music you've written and whatever's coming next! Stay strong!
Max Cavalera is one of my all time favourite guitarist and singer, really simple but yet massive fat riffs. Also instead of buying a set of strings way back in the late 80´s he bought a bottle of vodka so that's why he made a trend to have just the strings he really needed, which is 4... strange so se him have 6 strings on the guitar though.. :D
Bienvenido 🤘🏼a ESP Massimiliano Never forget meeting you for the first time 4th of June 91 at TOR 3 Düsseldorf Alemania with Sacred Reich and Heathen as support. You played BC.Rich Warlock NJ back then I was working for ESP Europe around that time , saying to you , switch over and play a good guitar from a good company , but you refused Finally after decades you join the ESP family 👌🏼
Andreas makes a lot of bullshit up, he also doesn't have max credited on any sepultura songs when you look at the spotify credits, it all say him and igor, when for morbid visions it either says jairo or paulo never max, do you believe that?
How Far Can You Stray? The Irony of a $7,700 Guitar in a Country with a $290 Monthly Minimum Wage Max Cavalera, the legendary frontman of Sepultura and Soulfly, is renowned for his socially conscious lyrics. In the past, he has often denounced oppression and inequality, particularly focusing on poverty and social injustice in his home country of Brazil. However, there is a stark contrast between the ideals he once championed and the reality of today: a guitar being sold under his name for a staggering $7,700 in a country where the minimum wage is only 1,412 BRL ($290) per month. The Unequal Distribution of Wealth To grasp the disparity Cavalera once criticized, it's important to look at the numbers. With the Brazilian minimum wage currently at 1,412 BRL per month, or roughly $290, it would take a Brazilian earning this wage almost 27 months (over two years) of full earnings, without spending anything on living expenses, to afford this luxury guitar. This starkly contrasts with Cavalera's earlier messages, where he stood up for the poor and the oppressed. The Pricey Guitar: A Symbol of Alienation? An ESP guitar priced at $7,700 represents more than just a musical instrument; it symbolizes luxury and exclusivity-a far-off dream for most people in Brazil. Even a less expensive LTD guitar, priced at $760, is nearly unattainable for the average Brazilian, costing more than two months' worth of wages. This raises the question: How far can you stray from the ideals you once preached? From Rebel to Brand Name It's hard to reconcile how someone who once vehemently opposed the system now seems to have become part of it. Max Cavalera, who once sang about poverty and inequality in Brazil, now has his name attached to a product that is utterly out of reach for many in his homeland. This evolution is not uncommon in the world of celebrity, where success and wealth often lead to a certain degree of alienation from one's original ideals. The Irony of Success Cavalera's success has perhaps inevitably distanced him from the reality he once so passionately sang about. While his music can still give a voice to the oppressed, it is difficult to ignore the irony that he now promotes a guitar that symbolizes the very extreme inequality he once criticized. This may be an inevitable consequence of success, but it remains a bittersweet reality for those still struggling to make ends meet in a country where the gap between rich and poor remains vast. Conclusion While Max Cavalera is still celebrated for his influential music and contributions to the metal world, one might wonder if he has lost some of the original fire and focus that defined him. A $7,700 designer guitar is more than just a musical instrument; it is a symbol of how far someone can stray from the ideals they once held dear. In a country where the majority of the population cannot even come close to affording such a luxury, the sale of this guitar under Cavalera's name suggests a disconnection from the reality he once knew so well and so fiercely criticized.

So weird to see him play a guitar with all 6 strings on it haha Love this!
He plays solos in Go Ahead and Die. But I agree it is weird.
@@shredhead99 I looked that up, its not him, he is just miming the solo, if you look up the album, some other guy did them.
