I had an original 400 Eliminator. 400 ninja inline 4, shaft drive and no cornering clearance. Revved to 15000rpm. New one tips it's hat to the original design. Not going to have that wail though.
the Eliminator does have a passenger seat with a strap on the seat and similar attachment screws on the sides for bags. The Eliminator doesn't have a analogue gauge for the tachometer. The 450 is digital only dash display. I saw just a blank screen. Also I have read Eliminator was a beginner bike on the internet and was to compete with the Honda Rebel 500. I heard from the dealer salesmen say it is a bit more then a beginner motorcycle. Thanks for the comparison. 650 is just to much engine for me, so I would take the smaller motor.
Hope the eliminator isn't too expensive in my region, i still doubt it'll approach the affordability of the Meteor 350 from Royal Enfield im looking at currently. the Vulcan 900 is still the long term objective, the Classic LT really cemented as my dream bike when i went to sit on one at a dealership. Also congratulations on 10k mate.
The needs of commuters are well addressed by larger maxi scooters which are more efficient, have more storage, and more than adequate power for zipping around town or cruising an interstate, yet they are not discussed.
I talk about scooters all the time on this channel. I'll have several videos in the Eliminator when it arrives. If you'd like me to compare it to a scooter, I'd be willing to do that.
I hope you get an Eliminator soon to show and tell us about. I personally don't like the feet-forward position of most cruisers, so the Eliminator looks like a really good option. Also, please let us know about options for windscreens and cases if you get a chance.
I'm expecting to see the Eliminator very soon. As soon as I get it, I'll make a few videos on it. Thanks for watching! Feel free to subscribe to make sure you don't miss it.
Thanks! Did subscribe, looking forward to seeing. I appreciate your no-frills approach to video. Other channels I have to jump on the volume control to save myself from blaring intro music. Keep doing it your way!@@PeterLoweOne
Helpful details and comparison. This bike looks great, and cool it can move out faster than many cruisers with the 650 Ninja engine design. The Eliminator 450 with a bit more cubic centimeters cc's up from the Ninja 400 in the newer bike should be interesting. I've never used the flash to pass yet on my Ninja 650, but will keep it in mind for emergencies, along with the hazard lights. Unique dash on the 450. Thanks! How many gallons/liters does the Vulcan S have? Ninja 650 '21 through '24 have the 4.0 gallon tank, which I can get a range of 200 miles on with .2 spare gallons left at the gas pump.
Incredible review. I'll be buying my first bike very soon. I decided on the Vulcan S. I might wait for the 2024. Do you know if the color combination is going to be flat black and green? Or maybe it was gloss black and green. I don't remember. But do you know if it will have the green accents on the rims and tank? Thank you very much.
It's a fantastic choice. It really has some get-up-and-go. It smokes other starter cruisers like the rebel 500 but I just couldn't get over the exhaust sounding like a lawnmower. I finally decided to go with an Indian Scout Bobber but I will be keeping it in rain mode for the first season.
I just test drove the Honda Rebel 1100.. it was a nice ride plenty of power. I really like Kawasaki but not sure 650 is enough for me and my girlfriend's weight.
The rebel even 1100 is small bike. Just cause it has 1100 dont make it massive. The frame is still basically a rebel 500 ss for power its little stringer than 650s but 650s still has over 60 hp and is beast
I am an older guy (55) with aging knees. I have several motorcycles, Indian Chieftain, Honda ST1300, and Can Am Rt, but am looking for a light motorcycle to ride around to work or around town. I have been looking at the Kawasaki vulcan s, but don't know if it will have enough power for my size. I am 5'10" and 225 lbs. What do you think which one would be better for me. I also am looking at the Indian scout, or Royal Enfield.
I think there are two schools of thought there. On one hand, I agree with you. It's due for an update, on the other hand, Kawasaki has long paid for the tooling to make this bike, and it's offered for a good price at a profit for Kawasaki, and they continue to sell every one that they make. So from Kawasaki's perspective, They're still hitting a market that wants this and making a profit. Designing a new bike means that the price will go up for the consumer and that might alienate the people who love this bike as is. I always love the latest and the greatest, but I've grown to appreciate that while Kawasaki makes a profit on bikes like these, they're able to innovate on other products because of it.
@@PeterLoweOne i agree with you, but you dont really need a massive redesign with the vulcan. I really like the way it is now. But, what stopped me from getting this is the out dated panel gauge, and lack of feature like slipper clutch and assist which the eliminator actually have at a lower price. Dont need an overhaul to add those. I bought the z650rs instead. While it doesnt have traction control, it has everything i need.
They need a new engine, look at the other 3 Japanese manufacturers. This parallel twin is not a nice engine. Another 20hp and 270 degrees firing order is what they want. If one of the other 3 decide to put one of their superior engines in a cruiser style bike then the Vulcan is done
60 plus hp for 500lbs is low? This beats most cruisers lmo besides the really big ones that are like 1200 plus ccand most those are still only 60 to 100 hp and 15k

The coolest part of the eliminator is that its invisible.
I'll have a proper review of it coming soon!

Yeah right...how's 2 grand more than the RE for ya???

when will be Eliminator arrive in canada?
Maybe for next season? I saw they do have it up on their website now. I'm not a cruiser fan, but the Eliminator looks tite!
at 13:00 the man shows off his boxing/punching knuckles, clearly dude didnt mean it but kinda did :), must watch a lot of UFC.
I've never seen a UFC match in its entirety. 🤣

The Vulcan need to be updated. this exact design has been the same one since 2015-2016. out dated panel gauge and feature...

Vulcan s is good motorcycle, unfortunately no slipper clutch on it, right?
That's right.
Kaw 650cc is the best bike for the money
Kind of low HP for the weight of the bike. Rebel 1100 makes more sense.
