The Hole - Enchanter Solo Cash/Exp Farm + Named Charm Strategy

- At level 51, the entrance to The Hole has proven to be a pretty solid experience zone that generates about 1k platinum per 1-2 hours depending on your luck for loam encrusted drops and 100pp gems.
I wanted to crawl deeper, but most creatures in this zone see through invisible and are tough. The only enemies I could effectively solo at this level are at the entrance. Luckily quite a few named can pop in any of the spawn points on the map.
The named are a bit tough for our level still. So, I have started to use a "reverse charm" method to kill off these enemies. It's a bit riskier but it has been working great so far to quickly get your boss down to less than 10% health. You will see that method utilized in this video as well.
Oh man I loved this. I miss being new to the game and having the fear and anxiety you had walking by the guards on your way in lol. Good stuff man!
haha, that is always a great feeling. I need to head back to the hole sometime. I never did much past the front side.
Great video. Really inspiring me to stick it out with my chanter to grind out the lower levels.
the early levels, enchanters are pretty weak and limited. I stuck to the best group grind spots until around 35. Charm and soloing starts to get more efficient at that range... then in the 50s is OP lol
There's a rock there in the water that you can click on to swing it open - no key required.

yes, but you have to work on faction to buy it. I hate faction grinds lol
@@RektYou Really? You are a Enchanter. Illusion (Erudite?) plus Faction Boost spell.. should do the trick ^^. But hey I only played when Luclin, Planes of Power and LoY came out. Maaaybe they changed it a bit.
@@Orsuss unfortunately, the illusions and faction spells won't do it in that stage of the game. Still have to kill a ton of guys in the Warrens to get it good unless you're an erudite
@@RektYou Oh bummer! M'kay dunno how p99 was designed. Okay.. maybe Plan B: you can lockpicking the door ^^ If you have a rouge or bard to hand.
Dry Bones illusion got it done for me this morning. Gets them to apprehensive. Died to a named this morning so figured it be easier to get a Rez if I have the key. This is 2023 so I’m sure some adjustments have been made to P99 since this was posted.

You would get more exp if you did damage to all the warriors before they die.
