Thank you for the content and care that you put into each and every video! You are what all fathers should be working to be like. Have a magnificent day!
Dude. I have to tell you as my kids are 10 and 13 that this video for whatever reason got me. Just you and your kiddo enjoying life. Laughing. Watching. Learning. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and the edit is simply perfect with the music. Well done man. One day at a time, take your time, because it’s all we have. Cheers. ✌🏻
I watched this episode with tears swelling my eyes every minute of it. You are doing an amazing job and you and your son will grow up with so much love and memories and experiences together. God bless you
Love seeing you out there with your toddler. I have a 3 year old, and I love to do trips with just her and I. It’s not the easiest, but, like your kid, she loves just being outside, no matter what we are doing!
It's great to see you do silly stuff like speed up over bumps to get a laugh out of your boy. He's going to grow up with a perspective of the world that not many have the chance to develop.
Also, what you are smelling is the oils from the creosote bushes. They are one of the plants that gives the desert it’s amazing smell. Especially after it rains. (I’m from AZ) :)
That's awesome! I've never smelt the desert after rain, but I imagine it's incredible. The high desert always smells so strongly with all the sage brush after rain.
I actually guessed there was a mister in that box only because I got one recently for that same purpose. It was a cheaper one but yours looks better for sure. Keep having fun!
Love this video - we are currently living in Ontario, CA. I went to Joshua Tree in spring; but I don’t think I’ll head back to the desert until November or so. In the summer we’re sticking to oceanside and mountain exploration!
Revere, I also enjoy hearing you talk about your vehicle and the things that are on it and why, I am so happy you kept the blue Rep color it should be overland special colour, I'll bet the rap would cost a fortune to regular folks, also want to hear about that little antenna with the loading coil at the top that I think is a GPS multiplier,
Great video!! I don't have any kids, but wish I had, especially watching you and your son. I hope this is just a beginning of many life long adventures for both of you together. On another note, I just retired and want to set up a vehicle and camp like you are doing with a topper fold out tent like you have. How do you think a full size truck compares to a mid size with a similar set up in the northwest mountains and forest service roads, and maybe some desert stuff eventually in Arizona and Nevada? Keep up the great videos!
Thanks! I certainly hope he wants to continue coming with me as he gets older. I think a full size truck is the way to go, especially for the west and PNW. The Tundra is already over GVWR, and something like a Tacoma or Gladiator is going to be even further over. If you’re worried about staying under GVWR, a 3/4 ton is the best option.
I would love to bring my 100 Watt transceiver and run a "worked all trails" to have other hams call in and trace us on their computer listings. I have the rig, the willingness, and the money to pay my own way...... What does Revere say...? It would add amateur radio fun to your wonderful trips.... A lot of hams must already watch you, I think.
i see lil' cholla hopped a ride on the sidewall of the rear right tire at 12 :38.. as a kid, i got one of those stuck between my barefoot and flip flop while runnin around, so when i stepped down it sunk deep into my footbed.. very painful to say the least.. i don't recommend running in the desert with flip flops 🩴😉 gotta love that Az desert 🌇🌵
That one hung on for a while! I was surprised it stuck so well to a thick tire. I’d hate to think what it could do to a bare foot, and can imagine it’s very painful!
If it happens, it happens. We have the equipment and supplies to contact and wait for a tow truck! Since I’m part of the recall I’ll get a brand new engine at some point.
@@joseperezpaz9986 no, there's no engines available for that yet. It'll probably be at least a few months before they even start replacing engines as part of the recall.
when did you first bring your son out to camp? I have a 11 month old boy. I wanted him to enjoy being out so bad that I’ve been scared to take him out too soon and ruin it for him.
Our first camping trip with him was at 3 months old. He had no clue what was going on, but slept through the night for the first time while we were out! He was really enjoying it by the time he was 1 year old and we took him to Alaska! I think they are just happy to be spending time with you, and do really care where they are at that age.
Have you tried it recently? A lot has changed in the last six months, and it’s a completely different experience from 2 years ago. I just cancelled my Gaia subscription because while OnX has been getting better, Gaia has been getting worse and more expensive.
Nature is the best life teacher. Your toddler will be great in future for sure.
Very nice you have your son with you , it’s great to see him enjoying it all.
Great video too, ✌️😊🇬🇧

I just dropped my youngest off at college. Enjoy them while you can!

Another fantastic video. I really enjoy the father and son ones.

He’s ok. I only talk to him for the trail recommendations!
@@RevereOverland I don't blame you.
Sweet video of you and your son on an adventure.

Creosote bushes smells good in the desert.

Great work!!! Absolutely Loving these Gen3 Tundras ,
How many miles do you currently have on your tundra ?
Thanks
I’m up to 71k miles on it now!

I also own an All-Cabin and am wondering what water tank level sensor are you using?
They’re the Redarc sensors that work with their RedVision/TVMS Prime system. They have another one that works with their Rogue too.
@@RevereOverland Nice. I have the Redarc RedVision System, Cheers.

awesome video and truck. You ain't worried about your 3.4 liter seizing because of the metal shavings left in the engine?
