I respect the man of God but what does the bible said about divorce and remarry ? Iam a bit concerned because believers might think it is right to do so because to my understanding marriage is a covenant and should last till death. The only time you can divorce is if one commits adultery but there is still room for forgiveness . Because to my understanding of the word of God those whose wives/ husbands still alive and they divorce and remarry they are aduterers.
Also the word of God said for one to be used as a leader in the kingdom of God should be able to control His family if not how can he manage the church of God?.
The pharisses asked Jesus and told Jesus that Moses gave the cert. of divorce and Jesus replied yes because of hardheartedness Moses has to give the cert of divorce.
Iam sorry please give me a word in the bible that allows church leaders to divorce and remarry and continue in God's work. I only know that when one died then the other can remarry. Please forgive me I believe that we should live by the word of God and nothing else. Sir Iam not judging you but I humbly want to know in what bible verse do you divorce and remarry because with lack of knowledge ppl perish. I love you as Jesus loves me too.
