Looking for a way to pre cue as well. Would be nice to use it more like a DJ mixer and cue in the headphones
Unfortunately not. The mc707 has a cue system in it. I so wanted this on the TR8-s.
The title of this video is inaccurate. This shows how to edit a 'variation' whilst another variation is playing. You cannot edit another pattern while one is playing. Each pattern consists of 1 to 8 variations (A through H) which can be edited within the current pattern. You cannot jump to a different pattern and edit it while your current pattern continues to play.
You are rigth.. Thanks for the clarification.. It´s very obvius what you say.. And I am surprised they have not edited the title. Well sais Chris.. The title should be " How to create a new variation while a variation is playing by starting from zero or by copying and editing the one is playing. or other... YES. You are 100% right..
a tip: you can watch series on instaflixxer. Been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

Its not actually creating a new pattern .
It is a new variation your creating . Would be really cool if an actual whole new pattern could be created while playing a pattern .

How do you change patterns without the bpm changing. The 505 used to also have a mega mix function which was super nice so your not completely interrupting the flow ever time you want to change the beat and pattern.

Can I use 909 and 808 sample packs simultaneously?
I have a question I copy pattern 1.02 to 1.04 but know if I change samples on 1.02 it change at 1.04 also can't find to stop it, I deleted pattern 1.02 and make a knew pattern on it know my pattern 1.04 is completely changed
I'm losing my mind trying to simply find how to do a "guide" click while I use the INST REC function. Can anyone help? I have had a 707 for a long time and when playing in my patterns to record of course you need a click track. It is a matter of pressing the Instrument/Guide button on the 707 to turn it on and off. HOW THE HELL DO I DO IT on the TR-8S??
How to make tr8s play next patern automatically, I've made 3 patterns only one is playing all the time
Pattern Chaining. It will play in sequential order. I am new to the machine as well but have seen it on other videos.
