As someone that just tried the fight as a Stealth Netrunner and had most of the content in the game complete (Besides Phantom Liberty, wanted to beat this before getting into it), he's without a doubt miles ahead in difficulty compared to anything else in this game. I can to abandon stealthing and spamming netrunner stuff to just running around to stay alive. That's me speced into Strength for HP/Adrenaline too. They didn't take kindly to people saying his earlyier version were too easy...
I’m so torn on if I should watch anything regarding 2.1 yet! I’m holding out for most of the mods I use to update, or at least get all the all cleared from the creators. Just from the short bit I saw though it’s crazy how much CDPR were influenced by the Stay At Your House mods!

There ARE takedowns on Smasher. He needs lose alert status. You can see the takedown option at 3:32:27 for a fraction of a second.
in the lore there is a story where alt and johnny are cloned and brought back whenever they die it could point to that in the one side quest
gangs will chase you down and i am finding tier 5 components everywhere
