I love my S6 Lite i use it for photo editing and i draw sometimes. I dont have amy plans of upgrading unless i see a crazy good deal on a tablet but I'm not looking for one. Great video!
For me i have the 2022 version of 64GB and for me i use this for my business classes (online), a bit of entertainment, and its portability i can use this for a quick pinch if i need to physically go to college. For me both the 2024 and 2022 are great, the only difference are the chipsets of Snapdragon 720 and the Exynos 1280. The 1280 is not a bad chipset it performs atequate for energy efficiency and balance of playing average games and everyday tasks (never meant to be pushed). The 720 just makes it fast and snappy of power balance. My A53 has the same chipset as the 2024 model and i will tell yall from my experience the battery can last you the entire day (possibly two). I once watched youtube all day and my screen on time was 12h and 53min that's incredible. What do ya'l l think?
You really like the s6 series.. i was here in 2022 and i wrote you same comment but never expected to see you again loving same series in 2024 😂 this is a real love story to this tab .. But really i don't know why samsung keep on releasing models for s6 tab .. i have s6 lite lte 2022 ..but it's enough.. they should have released another new one of their successor..
The only reason I would upgrade from my old 2020 is the transportability. But my husband is now in the final stage of dementia, so I won't have the need to carry a tablet with me during my daily visits with him. It came in handy these past 6+ months, but soon I will be able to retire it since it no longer holds a charge like it did for the first couple of years. For those who are considering buying one, I can honestly say that the S6 Lite is a nice tablet and whether you choose the 2022 for price reasons, or the 2024, you won't be sorry. :)
So sorry to hear; these are incredibly precious moments you both are sharing, and I pray that you both continue to cherish them 🙏🏾. Your take on the S6 Lite is spot on as always; you're an expert at this point, 😇
7:32 here in Brazil the s6 lite is THE tablet yet to this day. Devices like that are not accessible usually as our coin is weaker and we have a lot of taxes for importing, specially electronics. So we in Brazil are very grateful for Samsung keeping low budget devices updated.
Have the 2022 and 2024 additions and I've commoned before on this channel about the somewhat sluggishness of the 2022 tablet some years ago I had the 2020 S6 light and found it to be absolutely brilliant in comparison to the 2022 version now I find that the 2024 version of the S6 Lite is much snappier than the 2022 edition perhaps I picked up a rather rubbish version of the front of 22 at the time you can buy the 2024 edition on eBay as people are selling them off from getting them from Samsung along with their phones on a phone deal I got mine for 170 pounds which is whatever it is on US dollars probably will trade in the 2022 with Samsung for a newer s series thank you
The S6 Lite is a good series of Tablets I believe for the price point. It has a bundled Stylus and even supports Samsung Dex on the go, even though there isn’t any support for external displays. It’s a good strategy to refresh the chipset consecutively for 3 generations now since the original 2020 version launched. They should have also however released a variant with higher RAM. 4GB RAM just runs okay, but in my experience the One UI 6 slowed down the 2022 model to quite an extent. My 2022 variant is receiving the One UI 6.1 update as of today; let’s see if there is an improvement in the performance.
I Purchased one during the Amazon Prime day. It's a cool tablet. I just purchased it for the S-pen features. The only thing I don't like, Samsung didn't recommend in the manual what charger you need, yet they do not recommend using another brand but their own. There are so many types of chargers and I have no idea which one will work that won't damage the battery. Since this model is an Amazon exclusive, not even Samsung's own website has information on it.
if you want piece of mind just get the 25W USB-C charger. It won't benefit from a higher wattage charger. It will also work with slower chargers, no problem. For the record both me and my wife have used Samsung 15W and 25W chargers as well as a generic USB-C PD charger (20W) for years without any issues. Even my old JBL 12W brick works. Samsung devices are generally not picky with power adapters
Hi Ivan! Thanks so very much for your video and your recommandation. As a med student which one should I pick between the S6 lite and the Ipad air 2024 11inch? I wanna hear your thought on this. Thanks so very much.
The iPad Air 2024 is a better pick here; if I were in your shoes however, I would actually go for the last gen iPad Air (M1), and use the savings to upgrade the internal storage.
I have the 2024 s6lite and I've cracked the screen but I can't get it repaired because they say a screen isn't available for it yet .only one company in China has them available why can't they fit the 2022 screen. I'm in the UK
2022 owners as myself don't need this - right on my bed. No. Isn't obvious at all. I'd GO for the 2022 model if a new buyer, actually don't fall victim to robbery, has a charger.
I am a 3rd year student at university of Dhaka, Bangladesh, . Want to take the tab for study purposes, Please help me remove my confusions, I'm bit confused between 2 tablets, What will be your pick between used galaxy tab s7+ and new galaxy tab s9 fe? One thing to mention here, the used tab s7+ is in fairly good condition with a price of 460 USD the new s9fe is also in the same price range, Please help me decide
They should just replace the s6 lite with the s10 fe at a similar price point. I just don't get why the s9fe even exists. At least the s9fe plus can be considered as a replacement for the previous s7fe. Samsung has a weird portfolio. I guess it's just money, they've been recycling the exact same design for 6 years now haven't they. Guess this is a winning formula for them especially when considering the fact that this is the cheapest tab with a proper stylus.
that's because it's indeed a midrange chipset from 2022. But for a 2024 budget/lower mid-tier tablet it does OK. It's got about the same performance as a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset (2024 release)

I still have my S6 Lite 2020. Just got a software update. Still works well for what I need it to.
What android version did you update to?

i use it for painting, and same here
Nice!!

Since when have you had it, I feel that Samsung tablets quickly degrade its battery

How i wish it had all these specs and features but in the size of tab a9

Wha about performance now bro, is better?
@@williamruiz8483 It is slightly more responsive but it's still not as polished as it was on One UI 5

Thanks so much for this video. could you please tell me if I still can do Wi-Fi Direct to display the videos on my smart tv?
The 3.5mm headphone socket combined with the on-board Samsung DAC and a nice set of IEM's make this tablet great for a music player.
I wanted to know about battery life, did the change of chip have an impact on that? Can you do a test?

I understand what you mean but I already have Icloud. So is 128Gb ipad à good option for med school?
Bro what about te gaming which one will be better? Like chip processing
Hi! I currently have the galaxy s6 lite 2020 version. Should I upgrade to the 2024 version?
only if you want to keep having updates for an extra 4-5 years and a more powerful/efficient chipset
Does it still have the light bleed issue the 2022 model had ?
Yes (according to fishbee)

Pardon, how does this new refresh compare to the A9+?
Hello sir can you please tell me that S6 lite 2024 is launched in India. 🙏
I searched on amazon and flipkart but they only show 2022 model 😢
Am even searching for that
I don’t think so. Amazon still has the Variant listed as Qualcomm, which means 2022 model.
What will happen after 3 years , it will work well but I don't know exactly what will brings us the future

What about updates??? Cause my cousin has a8 and the software on it is pretty advanced compared to my galaxy tab s6 lite 2022 model
If it had 6GB of RAM i would've upgraded from the 2022 model...

I'd recommend the Tab S9FE
I unfortunately have the old exynos version, it is really laggy so I really want to change
How many years of software update has Samsung promised for tab s6lite 2022 ?
4 OS updates and 5 years of security updates, so it's halfway through its SW support timeframe
Broo.. Can you please check if the spen of the s6 lite works with NOTE 10 LITE ?
it's the same technology, it will even work with a wacom tablet lol
Dude, the way you holding those tablets is making my brain melt. Am I that small?! 😂 that is NOT how it looks like when I hold my s6 lite
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That made me laugh so loud

Nice!!
Would you recommend paying 50$ more to get the 2024 version instead of 2022. or is the upgrade not worth the additional 50$ , excellent video btw!
If you want additional 2 Yr software updates, $50.
ill take the older snapdragon any day
Still using galaxy tab a7
4GB RAM still terrible. 💀
Still using tab 6 😂
