What are you meaning to get at, in the Title. Only 2 Ma 200’s…? “Only ….?”Those are amazing mics. They can easily be made versatile. And sound great. In the right hands. The term “Only” would be applicable if it was “only” to Beringer mics.

We say "Only (2) MA-200 mics" because we get so many inquiries asking, "which mic should I buy for this instrument and which should I buy for that?..." Many musicians that do not have access to a pro studio feel they're doomed when in reality, they have the ability to capture their work beautifully, with just a mic or two.... and the right hands ;)
Mixing Engineer here! His voice absolutely fits into the mix. This is a natural acoustic vibe track, not overly processed with vocals layered 20 times panned all over. This is how music should be.

Just asked Trevor - he responded: "I used the UAD 1084 probably into the UAD La-2a."

Difference in voicing from the 200 vs 300?
They are voiced the same. The difference is the MA-200 is cardioid only. The MA-300 adds multi-patterns, pad and hi-pass filter.
