  • Whats going on! Welcome to the channel. This video will be the first of many to come with this awesome 1968 Dodge coronet. I pulled this car from the weeds after sitting 20 plus years! These next videos will be showing what it takes to get this car doing burn outs and crusing the streets again! Stay tuned to watch the full build up play out!

My mom had one of these when I was a kid. She sold it; and I loved that car even as a young kid. 1968 dodge coronet 440 magnum is still my favorite to this day.... 🤗

I did pretty much the same thing, 68 Coronet 440, slant six car. I gutted it from ass to tea kettle and began replacing lots of sheet metal on a rotisserie. I went overboard and now have a perfect shell, to the tune of about 20k US. Takes a lot of will power and discipline to do it on a budget, but I'm a perfectionist.

Awesome stuff, keep it coming. Would be a perfect candidate for a 5.7 swap... or even a 5.9 maggy. I threw a mildly built 5.9 in my road runner for dirt cheap and she rips.

I have a 5.9 maggy sitting at the farm! I have been thinking of that lots!

@@doublebarrelgarage I just kept the stock a904. I put a little shift kit in it so it shifts nice and hard. We'll see how long it lasts.

That sounds awesome! I’m definitely going to be thinking more about it!

I ditched the FI and threw an RPM carbureted manifold on it so to the untrained eye it looks stock. Mags have higher compression, better flowing heads, roller cam, and most used ones are in good shape because of the FI.

Love those coronets of that generation. Also your 3rd gen ram single cab hemi is bad asf

Can I add a Dodge ram a rear end to my 68 Coronet drive shaft?
