If you're talking about like 11ft long snakes that's normal but if you're talking about one around the size of the one in the video you're better off without snakes and the tiny ones are just babies if that's the case :)

DarkCloud Eye Of The Storm {PurpleExtinction} same, me and my sister want a pet snake and my father is okay with it but my mom hates snakes for some reason, one time in spring around the end of april there was a small baby snake outside of our house, not venomous and pretty common here where i live and it was few feet away from our window under a tree, we were inside and my mom already was like that snake should go away now, i don't like it being so close, and me and my dad were literally like for real.. Soon she would ask which of the animals they had were the nicest and she would watch why I held it and even held them. After we got our guy though it took a while before she would hold him. We now have 3 snakes and one of them she even considers hers.
A long time ago I had a California king snake she was very friendly never bit me or anyone else. There was one incident where I did get a scare. I had a birthday party here at my house. My friend Rachel asked me if she could hold the snake I figured it wouldn't be a problem so I let her hold the snake. Then a bunch of her friends asked if they could hold a snake also I said for no problem so all throughout the party there were different people holding the snake at different times I would be walking around talking to people and then see the snake on different people's necks. There was one girl that I guess was barred out that passed out with the snake around her neck. I didn't think nothing of it but after half an hour went by I expected to see someone else with the snake but I didn't see the snake for a while so I went back to the girl that passed out and saw that the snake was gone. I cut the music off and asked if anybody had my snake no one knew what was going on so I started to panic I didn't know what to think at first I wasn't sure if somebody stole her or what happened. Me and Rachel and one of her friends started looking for the snake and then after about 2 hours I'm searching around I found the snake under the chair that the girl was sitting in it was a lounge chair so you couldn't exactly see underneath it I had to tip the chair over and then sure enough she was wrapped around the inside of the chair. I was so thankful to find her and it was a big relief. I had the snake for 6 years I had it since it was a baby. It was the best cut I've ever had besides a very sweet iguana I had named Yoshi. The colors of the snake looked almost like a prison uniform black and white stripe. The snake's name was Morticia.

I am 12years old. I am currently using 5 different journals for research: Journal 1-Bearded dragons Journal 2-Crested geckos Journal 3-ball python Journal 4-Corn snake Journal 5-Sugar glider. That’s not all of the Journals I am gonna do but I am researching about a whole lot of different exotic animals. I want to be someone who rescues animals & reptiles and find good homes for them or keep them for myself. I have already decided this dream at age 5. I got my first exotic animal last year at age 11. I got 2 crested geckos I still have them. I am now in the process of getting a bearded dragon (Baby) from a local breeder. I already have a lot of research and a 50 or 60 gal used tank that I cleaned out. If you read this all.... Thank you❤️❤️❤️💞
Oh wow. We're the same age, but my parents will only let me keep a bird or a fish. I currently have a canary, he's the funniest thing alive (no, seriously. I walk near his cage and he just goes "peep? Peep?")
@@arminek.1310 Canaries never should be kept solitary, they need other canaries to thrive. It is actually considered animal cruelty to keep a canary solitary.
I’ve seen a lot of posts about people wanting snakes but not allowed to get them. I’m going to be a hella bad influence right now so prepare yourself accordingly. I have some tips and tricks on how to keep a snake in secret. 1. Make sure you have the funds to make sure you can cover everything. They’re typically more expensive than you think. 2. Find a place that is rarely searched, under your bed, under the bed or closet in the guest bedroom if you have one. Make sure you have light in the room so they don’t deal with confusion and have constantly dealing with dark. I have a bright night light I keep on at night and keep him in the dark during the day. 3. It’s going to be significantly harder to get food for your ball python, if you can get frozen rats from a building or company close to you. If you don’t then that could ruin it or have the rats dropped off at a friends house instead of yours. 3. Keeping the rats, it works out so well for me because we have our old refrigerator in our garage that is rarely visited. Keep it in the back in a paper bag that you cannot see through. 3. Feed them at night when everyone is fast asleep. 4. Depending on your family schedule ordering them might work best if you’re able to be home without many people or you’re home alone. I waited until I was home alone before I purchased him from a fantastic breeder since it’s overnight shipping. MAKE SURE YOU DONT MISS THE MAILMAN. 5. Make sure there is a place to go if you do get caught. I’ve had my ball python for over two years and nobody has known! Anything else feel free to message me for further tips.
Matthew & Nigel I think he should too! I just got an 8 week old pacific parrotlet yesterday and he is so sweet! I got him from a breeder so he’s already tame
Matthew and Nigel probably not. Because there is not really beginner birds it depends on what your looking in for a bird and what you can handle. But here is a list hopefully this helps you. Parakeets can be easy little mild playful birds to care for, cockatiels which I own one love to mimic speech and songs. I have taught mine If Your Happy And You Know It also love to hog up your day with just hanging out with you and cuddles they love cuddles, green cheeked conures are very funny playful birds one of the quietest conures you can get they love to learn new tricks and love to sleep in snuggle tent but remember what Tyler Rugge said in his recent bird video always watch out for them getting caught in the fibers, lovebirds can be but kinda feisty. Lol But always very funny playful birds they love to learn new tricks and shred up any new toy and crawl in tight spaces and play peekaboo very adorable. Lol. Quakers which am I right you have one? Are very funny talkative birds love to talk and mess around with their owners and shred new toys up, parrotlets are very similar to lovebirds but not so nippy. Those are some right from the top of my head but remember to always do your research before you get a new bird. Hope this helps I know it’s a lot of reading but I would’ve liked somebody to tell me this info when I got my cockatiel. 😄
I'm glad to see that your python looks to feel so comfortable in your hand, that makes me believe that snakes are so much more docile than iguanas, as my pet iguana is always stubborn, it's been over 4 years that i've been feeding and petting it, yet every time when I would try to pick it up, it would start to panick, and try to run away from me
The reason I gave a Like: The information and details you gave out were and are accurate from those people giving me info at stores I have visited. I didn't know any better until I started watching videos like this. Thanks again for the information.
I am planning on getting a Ball python when I move out since my parents hate snakes and I absolutely love snakes. Plus I think that Ball pythons are adorable
Honestly.. I think western hog noses are good beginners.. espically if you’ve done a lot of research before hand. They may throw hissy fits, or not as friendly, but honestly very amazing snakes and quite easy to care for. Neither of my parents will allow me to have a snake -_- as soon as I move out one of my goals animal wise is to get a corn snake.. I love corn snakes!
From what I understand all good choices. I'm actually going to get a sand boa sometime in the future. I just got a children's python for my first snake and he's been an absolute blast so far. Eats great easy husbandry and has shed 3 times without issue.
I've wanted a pet snake ever since preschool when my teacher had a class pet, a corn snake. Since I was a weirdo and had no friends I'd play with her at recess. I'm twelve now, and my mom STILL doesn't want a pet snake since it's a lot of work and partly she's scared of them. I want one so BAD.
im literally in love with ball pythons hkjkjuyktl theyre so cute omllllll- but snakes in general r adorable ^^ im getting a snake next year for my bday, and ill probably be getting a ball python or corn snake bc both have a special place in my heart
Great video! Rosy boas are definitely another great beginner snake! Rosy boas have a lot of different localities, and come in a lot of different patterns and colors. They stay small, about 2.5-3.5 feet long, and can live in a 20-30 gallon tank. They are pretty docile and tolerate handling well, but can be a little squirmy like you mentioned with corn snakes. Their husbandry is rather simples as well since they require low levels of humidity and a temperature of around 85. They also are pretty good feeders. The only downside is that they can be harder to find as they are not as popular in the pet trade, but they are still relatively inexpensive.
I’m 19 turning 20 in 3 months . 2 days ago was my first time holding a ball python inside a house full of boys and female friends lol. The boys had like 3 around their necks but the one I was drawn too actually was the biggest - Me and the snake bonded and she was so chill around the noise and she enjoyed my comfort and she made my depictions of snakes disappear in that moment. Her texture was so soothing & her chillness was so cool i was upset I let story’s of snakes and the symbol people use them for make me fear them . I am now searching snake videos because I adored her that much 😂. Can’t wait to get one currently I’m learning their nature and information on snakes! I want my first future snake friend to be just like her (Ava) or your buddy Monty 🥺❤️❤️
I have a corn snake and he likes to just sit on my hand but he can get active and I set outside with him for like an hour and he loves me and I’m 11 so he’s kid friendly
lovely video Tyler i handled a bold python tonight for my first time tonight....i was scared yet the experience was comfortable.....i make films in deserts so doing some research to understand snakes better.....lovely video.....we thank you .........i was scared of dry biting but i know the fear is in my own head....it was a lovely experience handling a bold python tonight.Placid and peaceful.
My first snake is a motley snow corn snake, and her name is Narcissa. I've wanted a snake since I was a child, and it was a huge dream come true to finally get one a few years ago.
I love to hold snakes but I can't feed them bc I've had rodents my whole life, but I can do pinkies and insects. Do you know what snake I can get that matches my requirements? I know it's probably not possible to find one with that, but I was curious
Grace The weirdo I've got a yellow rat snake that I named Jewel. My mom got him as a birthday present from Pet Supermarket, and he's very fun to play with. A lot of times he's feisty and bites me almost everyday, but he's very special to me. I'm even gonna take him to a reptile show. Take care and God bless.
I wouldn't recommend a garter snake or the really fast moving noodles. bc they're really fast, you could get stressed yourself and sometimes they just don't like being handled. Mine hates me but will eat apparently and explore the enclosure. Otherwise they're really adorable snakes. A baby Python is the recommendation I would give, bc they're so chill (in my opinion) they won't slither away like flash. And I like big Bodied snakes. Mine have not refused to eat at all. But they are prone to do that sometimes.
I am super glad that you said corn snakes! Because I own a pet one and I am a beginner. But I disagree because I think corn snakes are better beginner snakes than ball pythons.
This is awesome! My father said if I do good in school I could get a snake. I absolutely love them, they are so interesting, adorable, and cool. I might get a smaller breed but the one I would love is a ball python, but since they get a little bigger then my dad is ok with, I probably won’t be getting one.
Corns, Kings and Milks are all colubrids - those are all constrictors that live in the Americas. My understanding is that, even though there may be some variation between individuals within each species, as far as temperament is concerned, they have more in common with other colubrids than they do with snakes from other families. So Milks, Kings and Corns would have a similar temperament.
cool I checked this out just to see like if I could take care of a albino ball python cuz that's my favorite snake in the whole entire world and I'm like super happy that you said they're easy to take care of them
Ik this is late but my kenyan sand boa tolerates and even enjoys handling. She will routinely come to my hand and even climb onto my glasses on her own accord, and is overall a gentle and affectionate snake. I've had her since she was two months old, and handled her nearly every day for the first three years. I think that they won't mind handling as long as they have somewhere that they can hide (like if you have a blanket around you that they can easily slither under) if they feel unsafe, and eventually they can get used to you enough that your hand feels safe. For sure one of the best beginner pets.
I'm here for Monty.

Sk8ter _189 No, i havent... It is not cuz I dont Like them or i freaked out or something, It is just way too expencive for me. I just had to realize that i dont have money for a pet right now. But I’m planning on to buy one in the future.:()
I have a pastel lesser I want an albino too 😩
I am 12years old.
Peep?")
I am going to do research journals thanks for the inspiration
You my guy are a legend
My parents might get me a snake BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO 💜😀 thanks sooo much!
Did you get him?
how’s it going?
Come on man, we need the update!
Can u please do a top 5 beginners birds
Matthew & Nigel I think he should too! I just got an 8 week old pacific parrotlet yesterday and he is so sweet! I got him from a breeder so he’s already tame
I just got a blue Quaker she's so nice
Matthew & Nigel he probably won’t because a beginner bird for one person can be extremely difficult for another
Matthew & Nigel oooh noo
I reaaly want a bird but i also want a snek
Aaa
Him:Today we're gonna be talking about snakes
Me: so we're gonna be talking about my ex?
It would be funnier if you said "You know my ex?"
pffft-
Hi unrelated but I love your Mabel pfp
I'm glad to see that your python looks to feel so comfortable in your hand, that makes me believe that snakes are so much more docile than iguanas, as my pet iguana is always stubborn, it's been over 4 years that i've been feeding and petting it, yet every time when I would try to pick it up, it would start to panick, and try to run away from me
The reason I gave a Like: The information and details you gave out were and are accurate from those people giving me info at stores I have visited. I didn't know any better until I started watching videos like this. Thanks again for the information.
"I have a lot of snakes"
Well,I haven't even touched a snake ever!!!!
You are a very informative person when it comes to pet care and choosing the right pet for a person
It's 12:00 am here but I love snakes so I have to watch this
I am planning on getting a Ball python when I move out since my parents hate snakes and I absolutely love snakes. Plus I think that Ball pythons are adorable
I might get a snake this weekend. This helps very muck thank you!
I wish I could get a pet snake
Saturns Rings I love them but they are a little sassy!
Same
They are picky eaters tho. Mine sure is!
This video helped me think about fears I have with snakes just seeing Monty hangout around your neck and not stricking you
Same.
I really love king snakes as they live all around my house. I saw a baby one the other day near my porch, and I was in awe of it!
This video helped SOOOO MUCH. I've been looking at snakes, and I think I'm gonna try and get a ball python.
I love your videos ♥
This brings me back to my child hood! My uncle had a snake named Monty! And we became best friends! Until he passed away 😢
Tyler: chose the pet step
me:i have 7 pets including 2 snakes and 2 geckos 1 lizard a rabbit and a cat
Haha same my friends think i'm crazying for having 9 pets .-. 1 ball python, 1 kenyan sand boa, 2 love birds, 1 turtle, 1 dog, 2 leopard geckos, 1 crested gecko
Alice I have 7 lol! A corn snake a cockatiel a parakeet a ghost mantis and soon a giant Asian mantis! I really want a Crested gecko though.
Alice Forgot about my 2 dogs. Lol!
I only have 1.....
I have tons 4 snakes 1 cat 70 stick insects 170 stick insect eggs 8fish 1 millipede 50 hissing roaches 2 tarantulas 1mantis
From what I understand all good choices. I'm actually going to get a sand boa sometime in the future. I just got a children's python for my first snake and he's been an absolute blast so far. Eats great easy husbandry and has shed 3 times without issue.

Me: “mom I want a snake”
Mom: “wait til your birthday.”
And then wait for your next birthday
....and then your next birthday.
And then your next next birthday
And the next.....
And then the next birthday
I've wanted a pet snake ever since preschool when my teacher had a class pet, a corn snake. Since I was a weirdo and had no friends I'd play with her at recess. I'm twelve now, and my mom STILL doesn't want a pet snake since it's a lot of work and partly she's scared of them. I want one so BAD.
Recently my leopard gecko had died and I was very emotional and instantly started thinking a snake because I've also thought they were cool
It’s always good to meet a fellow Tyler
Monty looks so chill!
I'm trying to convince my husband to let me have a ball python
Were you able to convince him yet?
I am also curious if you were able to convince him.
@@tommoore2012 yes! i have 4 snakes and a lizard now!!
@@strm7960 11 months ago i had two and now ive got 4 :)) he wont touch them and is freaked out still but im happy haha
You should get a Burmese Python. Threaten to withhold sex from him forever unless he agrees lol.

7:27 Kenyan Sand Boa
hope this helped
My top five recommendations are
1:ball pythons
2:corn snakes
3:rat snakes
4:housesnakes
5:king snakes
Thanks you helped me out so much
I have a corn snake and he likes to just sit on my hand but he can get active and I set outside with him for like an hour and he loves me and I’m 11 so he’s kid friendly
@James James why do you say he is a bad owner?
@James James tt
I rlly want to get a snake they are amazing creatures
thanks for the video tyler
lovely video Tyler i handled a bold python tonight for my first time tonight....i was scared yet the experience was comfortable.....i make films in deserts so doing some research to understand snakes better.....lovely video.....we thank you .........i was scared of dry biting but i know the fear is in my own head....it was a lovely experience handling a bold python tonight.Placid and peaceful.
My first snake is a motley snow corn snake, and her name is Narcissa. I've wanted a snake since I was a child, and it was a huge dream come true to finally get one a few years ago.
You kinda forgot to show ur other type of snake...
Lol, I'm kiddin'. Good video 😌
I really want a snake. I’ve loved snakes my whole live but then again I love all animals. My only problem with getting a snake is that I have pet rats
I searched for a python tutorial ...not petting a python
youtube algorithm man....crazy
Lmao coder joke
I love snakes. I have a ball python girl and a male disabled corn snake. They are both super friendly and love a cuddle. I love them to pieces.
The black Mexican king snake looks so cool!
I love to hold snakes but I can't feed them bc I've had rodents my whole life, but I can do pinkies and insects. Do you know what snake I can get that matches my requirements? I know it's probably not possible to find one with that, but I was curious
Who else has a snake and is just here for Monty 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Grace The weirdo I've got a yellow rat snake that I named Jewel. My mom got him as a birthday present from Pet Supermarket, and he's very fun to play with. A lot of times he's feisty and bites me almost everyday, but he's very special to me. I'm even gonna take him to a reptile show.
Take care and God bless.
Ball pythons live like 32 years
I wouldn't recommend a garter snake or the really fast moving noodles.
bc they're really fast, you could get stressed yourself and sometimes they just don't like being handled.
Would it be ok to handle a ball python every day, or would that generally stress them out?
I would answer, but I guess I'm too late?
is it bad i saw you posted and LITERALLY SCREAMED BC I LOVE U AND UR CHANNEL
Bald Beauty Addict
Yes
I showed my mom a video of a snake drinking water and she yelled "Ewww!!"
I want one so bad omg but she hates snakes.
LOL AWWW WAT SHE’S CRAZY!! 😭💖
Imagine saying ew after watching an animal drink water which is what every living being needs
I've always loved snakes. Such cool little guys. I'd love to have one
This is awesome! My father said if I do good in school I could get a snake. I absolutely love them, they are so interesting, adorable, and cool. I might get a smaller breed but the one I would love is a ball python, but since they get a little bigger then my dad is ok with, I probably won’t be getting one.
I want a snake but my mum and dad say 'NO!' LIKE UGHH GET OVER THE FACT YOU DONT LIKE THEN COZ THEY AINT CUTE AND EAT MICE 😶
But some kingsnakes get 6 feet long.... not really the same size of a corn snake :/ and milksnakes are kingsnakes technically
Allen Jay You're correct, don't forget as well that female kenyan sand boas can also get up to three feet.
He's the best youtuber!!!!
Monty is the coolest!!😍😍😍
cool I checked this out just to see like if I could take care of a albino ball python cuz that's my favorite snake in the whole entire world and I'm like super happy that you said they're easy to take care of them

Corey Copeland you forgot almond 😂
Me: snakes are cute and cool
My mom: WTF!!??
❤️keep up the great videos
Ik this is late but my kenyan sand boa tolerates and even enjoys handling. She will routinely come to my hand and even climb onto my glasses on her own accord, and is overall a gentle and affectionate snake. I've had her since she was two months old, and handled her nearly every day for the first three years. I think that they won't mind handling as long as they have somewhere that they can hide (like if you have a blanket around you that they can easily slither under) if they feel unsafe, and eventually they can get used to you enough that your hand feels safe. For sure one of the best beginner pets.
Snakes are so cute!
